The Coo's Guest House

Room was very small but was cute and clean Refrigerator not accessible after a certain time to keep drinks cold. Shower was tiny. My husband is an average size man and literally had to get out in order to lather up. Room needs some sort of fan.

This is quite basic accommodation but clean and comfortable. No breakfast or other meals available but it’s close to get stuff outside

Beauty place to stay, excellent location. Comfortable beds, excellent sized rooms. The only thing is rooms are not sound proof. We were right by the front door, so we heard everyone coming and going, bring ear plugs.

I booked the Coos as it had good reviews. Furnishings & soft furnishings very basic & stark but good shower room with Mira shower.

Really nice and clean property. The owners are really nice. We stayed 4 nights, it was really calm and we slept really well. The hotel is close to the city center, restaurants and supermarket. I definitely recommend The Coo’s Guest House! A lovely place.

Een prima en degelijke kamer en badkamer, al is het bed voor twee personen van 1,90 meter en 1,80 meter te klein. De contactpersonen reageren snel en adequaat op vragen. Aandachtspunten: er wordt geen ontbijt geserveerd en laat geen spullen in de koelkast in de loungeroom achter die je na 20.30 uur wilt gebruiken (zoals een biertje) want de loungeroom sluit om 20.30 uur.

Reslly cool hotel with an easy virtual check-in process, great location only 10 minute's walk to the city centre

A lovely room for our 2-night stay. Easy walk to downtown Inverness. Enjoyed the architecture in the area.

Ask where you can leave lugagge before check in time.

The fact you got no breakfast because if it was like the room it would been terrible

The room was clean and very well put together. Everything you need. The reason for the less then perfect review is because of two issues.One major in our opinion and one frustrating and not sure what the property owner can do. First was the bed.I’ve sleep on floors more comfortable.The double/full bed was actually two smaller mattresses pushed together.The uneven gap between them made sleeping terrible and the mattresses themselves were NOT comfortable to begin with. We did contact them and they responded quickly saying they would check into it but whatever they did made no difference. A thick mattress topper MIGHT have solved the problem short term. Other issues was noise from seagulls that roost at night outside. Horribly noisy! NOT sweet little pigeon or songbird sounds but a shrieking loud “what the heck was that!!?”noise. Earplugs are a must. I don’t know what the owners can do (if anything) but it’s worth knowing before you book. Maybe they are only there this time of year?? Between those two issues we almost went to a hotel for our last night to get some sleep.

Really nice place. Very clean, comfortable & warm. Convenient from train station & bus station for Loch Ness tours etc. Would definitely recommend
