Excellent staff, very clean & spacious room & ample free parking. The beds are fantastic with good quality bedding. Good value & very cheap for that area. The only cons were that it is an old building & as a result, it was draughty & the heating wasn't on. No socket near the mirror making hair & make-up a guessing game. A desk & chair would be good to have for this too. I felt it is a work in progress & they'll get there! Overall a great value for the area

This is a pub, not a hotel.

Affordable, well situated hotel only a quick bus ride away from St Andrews. The staff and bar men were hospitable and friendly.

Good 2 star accommodation for price. Some of the areas could use a bit of restoration/refurbishment but it is the Ye Olde Hotel! About a 15 minute drive from city centre St Andrews

The room was great, very large. Bathroom was also very spacious. It was perfect for our 1 night stay with St Andrew’s just a few minutes down the road. The room was clean and incredibly comfortable, only complaint is the beds were in front of the windows so we couldn’t open them.

Great location , we were at a wedding at The Rhynd and this was perfect location. Staff were super friendly and accommodating - allowing us to use the room hours before check in time. Bedroom and bathroom spotlessly clean. Thank you

For the money its good value. A little noisy early on but goes quite later at night with the traffic.

The hotel was fine we had 2 days thete the bed was cofortable a little bit noisy as we were at the front of hotel next to the road. But otherwise fine

Good vintage property. Good amenities as well. Stairwell has a bit of a mouldy smell, otherwise, enjoyed my stay.

Meget lyt, og lyst i lokalet da der ikke var mørklægnings gardiner i værelse 2. også meget varmt, men på anden dagen havde rengøringen sat en blæser ind. Hvilket var fantastisk. Og ud fra billeder på hjemmesiden og info når man booker. Så tror man at der er toilet på værelset. Er der ikke, du deler med 5-6 andre værelser.

The bedroom was very adequate. Make sure to get a room on the first floor or above. Beds were very comfortable.

The room was clean, had 2 nice comfortable beds, located in a good place. We were tired and could not stay up past dinner, otherwise we would have enjoyed the adjoining pub. It was a little loud for a bit but the pub closed early on a Tuesday night.

The staff are very friendly, and helpful. The room had a weird smell that wasn't pleasant. I usually try and find the positives but the walls in the room were paper thin and when I say thin I mean you can hear people in the next rooms conversation word for word. My roof was accessed off the sidewalk, off the main street and as the cars were 4 feet from your bed you could hear all the vehicles loudly passing by, I don't think there is any insulation at all as I've never experienced noise like that, and we kept out voices low so that the people in the next room aren't hearing our conversation. The place was clean , comfortable, and our room somewhat modernized. It's also central and only a10 minute drive from st Andrews which is a plus, just bring good eat plugs and it could be a pleasant stay.

Lovely time. Louise and Maddy (hope I’m spelling that right) are wonderful and made sure we had everything we need. We loved the Penthouse Suite at the top!

This was a nice little hotel that has been recently updated. Very comfortable beds and very clean. The little pub was fun and the owners were very kind, generous and helpful people.

The guy that checked us in was great. It is easy to hop the streetcar and get anywhere for 5 Pounds.

We have booked 1 night but the room has only shared bathroom

Nice room with two comfortable beds. Louise is excellent at making sure we had everything we needed. High standard of cleanliness. Excellent place to stay.

Really enjoyed my 6 night stay. Kitchen facilities were used just to make my coffee. The staff was friendly.

Good to stop for a night or 2 max, lovely staff and average drink prices. 1 bathroom shared between all the rooms (heads up) and the same with the kitchen facility. Best place roundabout is Dans Goods in Guardbridge, good rolls! (bit of a walk if you don't drive - ps. Won't get food in the hotel)
