Great property, quiet hotel, excellent service. Only downside is it’s not close to anything in city. But our room was clean, spacious and the service was great.

The food was excellent. The staff we met were very helpful and had a good sense of humor.

We come to Slovenia ever couple of years to visit family and stay in our family cabin. Hotel Alex was such a pleasant surprise. Large room, incredible breakfast! We didn’t have dinner in the restaurant but we are sure it was also Wonderful. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful! There is even a small store within walking distance or a short 2 min drive. The proximity to the airport and Lake Bled as well as Ljubljana is perfect. We will stay here again on a future trip!

Great hotel for a short stay - close to both motor way and airport. Great breakfast - just watch out no dinner available on a Sunday night.

Familie hotel i topklasse, behagelige nyere værelser med god plads. Dejlig morgenmad, god restaurant og hyggelige spise områder. Fint beliggende nær Bled. Kan stærkt anbefales.

Our stay was grate properly is nice and clean. Staff were so nice and professional.Owner is always around meeting with all guest and making sure everything is ok. We were filing that we are welcome and wilt friends. Breakfast is delicious and restaurant for dinner is grate. We made friends with owner and waiter from the restaurant. Good location if you want to visit all main attractions in Slovenia. We definitely will be coming back.

It was a beautiful, quaint property

We had a wonderful stay at Hiša Aleš and couldn’t have asked for a better base to explore the beautiful Ljubljana area. The room was perfect for our family—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The entire property feels exceptionally well planned, with every detail taken care of to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The peaceful village location gave us a relaxing retreat, yet it was still close to all the sights we wanted to see. Highly recommended!

Great room and great food. Has surprisingly nice view of mountains and monastery. Great place for a family of 5 to stay in Slovenia. Convent to drive to both Bled and Ljubljana

Incredible small hotel outside of Kranj Slovenia. The room was very clean, well organized. The restaurant was amazing. The chef was outstanding. Our dinner was well presented, portions were perfect. One of the best dinners I have had in a long time. I will definitely book this hotel again. This is a very special property.
