It’s was nothing less than perfect! Beautiful location, amazing rooms, stunning views, modern artistic decor. Went as a family and this place was incredible! Delicious breakfast daily! Debbie and her two ladies were the perfect hosts that took really good care of us all the time. I cannot recommend this place enough. This is where I will be staying every Cape Town visit from now on.

This property is one of the nicest I have ever stayed at. The property is beautiful, spacious, well-maintained, and had a lovely view. The room we stayed in was actually a full suite with living room, full kitchen, large bedroom and huge bathroom with soaking tub and shower. The staff went way above and beyond to make our stay perfect, including arranging our dinner. Breakfast the next morning was gourmet and delicious. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a special stay.

Where do I even begin? From the very first message Debbie and I exchanged, I knew she was the perfect host. Let me start by talking about Debbie—she made our stay incredibly pleasant, safe, entertaining, and refreshing. We encountered some issues with our transport services, but Debbie stepped in, sorted everything out, and even offered us a complimentary ride. I reached out to Debbie to arrange a birthday and Valentine’s surprise, and let me tell you—she over delivered! She and her wonderful team, Lucia and Nariea, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and safety. Debbie made it a priority to check in with us every single day. Chocolate Box Guesthouse was far better than we had imagined. From the complimentary breakfast with giant muffins to the free still and sparkling water, high-speed WiFi, laundry services, so many books to read, walk in closet, spacious shower & a slick tub, a beautiful swimming pool, and well-ventilated spaces, AC, the incredible view—it was truly an exceptional experience. If you’re planning to stay at Chocolate Box Guesthouse, let me emphasize this—I cannot stress it enough... Make sure you book the King Protea Presidential Suite! Thank God we did—you won’t regret it! A huge thank you to Debbie, your hospitality is unmatched and a huge thank you to Lucia, Nariea, and Dean for making our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to visit again! 😊
