Sehr schöne und stilvolle Unterkunft mit einem sehr guten Service. Wer nicht den englischen Zimmerstil bevorzugt, der möge die modern ausgestatteten Zimmer buchen.

What A Wonderful World. We were made so amazingly welcome at the Van der Stel Manor in Stellenbosch! Large, comfortable room, bed with electric blanket for the cool, early spring evenings .. and chocolates too. Great shower. Outstanding breakfast, in a beautiful room in the historic house. We really enjoyed our stay: thank you so much to all the wonderful staff. Will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to Stellenbosch. Highly recommended to others.

Van Der Stel was really well located in Stellenbosch, but had a great calmness down my residential street. It’s a short drive to downtown, but very close to the university. The pool and garden are beautiful, and the rooms are clean, if a little more dated than the photos. Breakfast is fab. Would recommend!

Beautiful setting in a beautiful town! The hotel is within 20 min walk along shaded, quiet streets to excellent dining and shopping in the town center, right in the university district. The hotel staff are friendly and efficient and safely stored important documents that I’d left behind until we were back in the area a week later. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Hot water was copious - and hot! The pool is in a shady garden and a welcome spot to enjoy a glass of wine on a lounge chair on the grass. We enjoyed breakfast (included) the first day but subsequently went

Such a lovely B&B. It’s so beautiful in a historical well preserved house. We had a very warm welcome and the breakfast is awesome. Lovely rooms and nice pool area. The staff is so helpful and nice.

Beautiful historical manor. The neighbourhood allows for pleasant walks, convient parking, staff is lovely and breakfast was delicious.

A lovely guest house in n a quiet area of Stellenbosch. The area felt very safe and the centre of town is just a short Uber ride away (5mins). Breakfast was excellent with lots of options and beautifully presented. The rooms are well appointed and having air conditioning is helpful in the warmer weather. The property as a whole is a little smaller than it appears in the pictures but the garden and pool are still really nice. We sat out with a drink in the early evening sun which was wonderful. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

The staff were amazing and the service was out if this world. Such a little gem and I recommend anyone to stay here. Side note: their breakfast were unbelievable.

We stayed here for 7 nights.Our room looked to the parking lot. Early in the morning Ehen groups left it‘s noisy. You can also have dinner here but the smell is also in the room. The room has a separate toilet this is nice, but it does not smell good. In the bathroom is a huge bathtub. She takes so much space that there is only room for one sink. Since everything is so tight, the bathroom can not be used by 2 people at the same time. The location of the hotel is quiet.
