Eric Vökel Boutique Apartments - Atocha Suites

I arrived late at 10:00 pm ,very tired and wondered how to get in the building for the check in machine. Fortunately, the staff opened the door for us. Apartment was a bit far for 5 minutes walking from train station and a little bit complicated at first time searhing for the apartment.

Seamless communication with property owner. The unit is clean, new and quiet. If you are a family traveling together this is the best option. Close to the metro and located close to grocery and convenience store. Highly recommended.

A very handy location near Atocha and the Palos de Frontera metro station. The building was in a good state of repair as was the room and all very clean. And it was good to note that further upgrades were also being done with a new kitchen in the adjacent apartment. We were there 2 weeks and had 2 linen changes which was fine. The road outside was busy during the day but only due to a local diversion cause by road works nearby but we hardly noticed. And it was quiet at night. 3 grocery stores nearby as well as cafes and restaurants. The Atocha Tandoori was excellent (albeit not exactly Spanish) but El Roble was Spanish and super friendly but no one speaks English. Overall great apartments, hard to beat within walking distance as I say of Atocha, Retiro, Prado. With a few stops on the metro to Sol, everything else you would want to see is in easy reach too.
