Really nice property….more of a classical old fashioned style. One issue was we could not figure out how to get the tv to work.

Property was clean, room was clean, staff was helpful. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant, but it seemed to be packed with people. I would definitely stay here again when or if I come to El Puerto again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was big and comfortable, patio area is really nice, and restaurant/service very good. Good location too.

Stayed for an event. Was allowed to check in early which was a huge advantage! AC is great, you do need to leave room key in slot to keep that operational so keep that in mind if you decide to go out and about. Reception and check in was a breeze, breakfast option was worth the amount paid and the property is beautiful. Parking is a bit tricky, it is a very narrow corridor to garage and has VERY limited spaces. Train station is about a 5 min walk from hotel that has some better parking availability if you are traveling light or don’t mind the walk. Single rooms are small, I mean SMALL. Booked the quadruple room just for the bathroom space to get ready for event. But overall, amazing place with a beautiful atmosphere!

Very basic (but not in a good way), the room had barely any natural light and breakfast was dire (terrible quality food and dirty plates that you can see fingerprints on). It is 12 euro for parking for the day by the way (I couldn't find this on their website anywhere). We will definitely stay somewhere else next time we visit.

Loved the entire feel of the hotel and how it captured Spain as a whole. The entire staff were amazing especially the bar staff. The food from the restaurant was incredible!

El hotel está situada en zona bastante cerca del centro y el concepto con patio central es muy acertado. Sin embargo, fallan bastantes detalles, y algunos de ellos muy llamativos para un 4 estrellas. Por ejemplo, el personal de recepción es algo desorganizado - ofrecieron bebida a otros huéspedes durante el registro pero a nosotros nada, nos pidieron bono de reserva a la salida dando a entender que nos lo habían pedido ya y no lo habíamos mandado, algo además inusual con Hoteles.com; al entrar y salir, o saludas tú o no te dicen nada; en la habitación no hay café o té de cortesía; el menú del restaurante es muy limitado y el local resulta poco acogedor al no tener un poco de música de fondo. Aparte, pedimos una habitación tranquila y… nos tocó justo al lado del ascensor… En general, no es mala opción si la idea es visitar el Puerto de Santa María y usarlo como base, pero mejoraría bastante con algo más de amabilidad por parte del personal.

Alla var så trevliga och hjälpsamma. Vilket fint hotell! Det har allt ni behöver och väldigt central. Vi fick även se en flamenco show på hotellet! Tack så mycket för allt!

Lieu avec une véritable âme ! Très beau bâtiment, une ambiance très espagnole avec un personnel sympathique. Très bon petit déjeuner. Chambre très spacieuse. Propreté irréprochable. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Stayed at Algeria Bodega Real for two nights. One single room one double. At check in we were informed that there were no more available parking spaces in the hotel. Most surprisingly since that was one of the reasons why we booked at exactly this location. The woman at the check in desk, rather quickly observed that we were not happy with that so she solved the problem by asking one of the staff to move her/his car to make a space for us - thank you very much👍 Rooms very clean and spacious. Single room had a much better aircon than the double bedroom, which wasn’t cooled properly down👎 Dined in the restaurant and it was a real pleasure. Very good menu with a fine variety of delicious local courses. The waiter “Paco” was very friendly and talkative. We had questions about sherry production and the area, and he could give us an intelligent answers to satisfy our curiosity. Also he was very efficient in talking our orders and deliver our food in a friendly and polite manner. Will highly recommend this hotel, its staff and its location🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Perfect restaurante in the hotel.

While visiting Puerto de Santa Maria during a visit to the surrounding areas in Cadiz, I came upon this hotel chain. The first time we stay with the Alegria hotels. All the employees we met during our stay were charming, kind and went out of the way to please us. Their facilities are beautiful and the Hotel sits in an very old renovated Bodega on a very small cobbled street. Nice rooms, beautiful inner court yard, elevators, under ground parking and it served tasty food and drinks in their restaurant which made it supper convenient, enjoyable and affordable. Close to the old city center which is walkable from the hotel and is loaded with charming bars, tapas and plenty of seafood restaurants. We felt always welcomed thru our stay. I will continue to look for the Alegria Hotel Chain and we highly recommend this facility.

Personal muy amable y servicial, las instalaciones preciosas y la comida del restaurante especial. Lo que no me gustó demasiado es que la bañera es demasiado alta, al menos la de mi habitación.
