Spring Hotel Vulcano

I recently stayed at Hotel Vulcano, and unfortunately my experience did not meet the standards I expect from a four-star hotel. During my stay, I encountered several cockroaches in my room. When I informed reception, the initial solution offered was simply to provide spray. I had to insist on changing rooms myself, and this happened late in the evening without any clear apology or reassurance. This handling of the situation was disappointing. I also sent an email afterwards explaining my concerns, but I have not received any response. The lack of follow-up and communication is concerning. There was noticeable noise in the room that affected my comfort. In addition, I asked at reception if a bathrobe was available, but was told it was not — something I would normally expect in a hotel of this category. The hotel advertises yoga and Pilates as part of its wellness offering, yet these classes are only held twice per week in a small indoor room. Given the climate and setting, I would have expected a more suitable or outdoor space. This does not reflect the image presented in the marketing. Furthermore, the rooftop terrace is shown on Hotels.com as a facility, but access is not included in the standard room price, which feels misleading. One positive aspect was that I was allowed early check-in at around 11:30 am, which I appreciated. Overall, the guest handling and the gap between marketing and reality were disappointing.

I was staying with my daughter and granddaughter. Room was very clean and staff was very friendly.Beautiful place.I recommend.

Our third visit. Great hotel. Staff very friendly. Food excellent. Pool spotless . Shower room for late check out. Ideal for people with mobility issues too. Hope to be back next year

Renew the beds please

Beautiful hotel and a great location. The staff were exceptional.Especially Nightshift reception staff when I had an issue. Plenty of beds buy the pool. No need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve with a towel. Will definitely be returning.

De gemeenschappelijke toiletten hadden geen formulier waarop stond hoe vaak schoonmaak plaatsvindt. Rondom buffet was het altijd smerig van eten dat langs schotels lag. Ook op de vloer bij o.a. het koffieapparaat veel vlekken. Heel veel eten was steenhard en uitgedroogd en lauw tot koud. Veel van het buffet van de ochtend werd eveneens in de avond geserveerd. O.a. Dessert, koude groenten, fruit.

Nice hotel,was put off by the reports of cockroaches in the rooms but I can honestly say I didn’t see any Hotel very clean,breakfast excellent The only thing I’d say is this hotel needs more entertainment in the bar at night and round the pool in the day Hotel in great spot

Terrible service from the staff during and after stay (except for the odd few like the cleaners and Miguel the bar man on the up level) and dinner was limited, terrible and far from what they advertise. Would avoid staying here but if you do, do not go half board. Pools okay, UP level is really good but fairly expensive. Rooms nice and modern.

Lovely property in a central location. Breakfast was outstanding and available up to 12 pm

Het ontbijt buffet was fantastisch, het was zeer uitgebreid met iedere ochtend enkele speciale gerechten die elke dag wisselden. Alles was ook vers en werd goed bijgevuld. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was prima in orde en het hotel is op wandelafstand van het strand. Enkel jammer dat er zeer veel zwervers in de omgeving van het hotel zitten, van op ons balkon zagen we daklozen met al hun spullen op de grond liggen en hun behoefte doen.

This hotel was excellent. The room and facilities were excellent and we would definitely stay again. However, we had terrible difficulty getting on the wi-fi. We asked on numerous occasions how to access the wi-fi at reception and eventually on the third occasion we were given the password and got on easily and really not sure why we were not given this when we first asked. This was a big problem for us as we had our 14 year old grandaughter with us and she was really unhappy with no wi-fi. We struggled for over 2 hrs. Other guests checking in were offered a welcome drink and we were not offered one. My husband eventually asked for one and we were given it, but we wouldn't have got one if we didn't ask. We also found one of the staff at reception quite rude. My husband has difficulty hearing and when he didn't hear what she said to him and he said pardon to her, she shouted back to him quite rudely. Also, we had booked a double room with a sofa bed for three people. We thought the sofa bed would have been made up but it wasn't. We waited for someone to make it up and no-one did. There were no sheets for us to do it. We tried to ring reception on the phone and kept getting an automated message that the number wasn't available. My grandaughter fell asleep on the sofa bed with no sheet and just a blanket. When we complained about this the receptionist said we should have rang. We told her we did ring and the phone number wasn't working. She didn't seem to care.

Wirklich ein sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem Badebereich und alles wichtige Fußläufig erreichbar. Zimmer sehr sauber, Essensbuffet reichhaltig und für jeden etwas dabei. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unbedingt dazu Buchen: die Dachterrasse. Top Blick und sehr ruhig. Werde dort das nächste mal wieder buchen.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction regarding the conditions of the room I am staying in. Unfortunately, I have noticed the presence of cockroaches in the room, which is completely unacceptable. Additionally, the spring mattress is quite uncomfortable and does not meet quality expectations. Overall, the room is far below the expected standard, especially considering the daily rate being charged. I hope these issues are addressed urgently and that the hotel takes the necessary steps to ensure a clean, comfortable environment that aligns with the price.
