Établissement incroyable, réception excellente, petit déjeuner très copieux et de qualité. Parking sécurisé. Tout était parfait.

Een fijne accommodatie om de stad te bekijken. Een mooie schone kamer en de gastvrouw gaf goede informatie over de stad. De stad is op wandelafstand en ook de busverbinding is prima.

Beautiful villa a short bus ride / 20 mins walk from town in a quiet area. The villa is very nicely decorated and the owner is very helpful and friendly and made us feel at home. Very nice and healthy breakfast and excellent staff for a fantastic stay in San Sebastián!

Sometimes it's just not a good fit between a guest and the owner. On arrival I wrote that it was the best reception we ever had. After the first night I had a small complaint and that was taken completely the wrong way. The worst thing was that, when my wife went down to the reception to pick up some new towls, some things were said by the owner that were completely out of line and incredibly rude. The owner will probably write in the comments that we are terrible people, but we really are not. Some good things about this hotel: The property was nice, the shower very good, the bed very good, also the pool area and breakfast were very good. Parking was a bit difficult but all guests could park on the property.The location is okay if you, like us, like to walk a lot. There are also busses going to the centre.

Would not recommend based on experience we had that included the following: 1. Blanca, the owner repeatedly made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable for our two-night stay due to very rigid rules with a feeling that we were staying in a horrible mother-in-law’s home. 2. Blanca criticized us for the amount of luggage we had and watched us bring it all in ourselves, reminding us that we had the smallest room and were not going to be receiving breakfast. 3. MAJOR PROBLEM- we had a number of important receipts on the night table that Blanca’s housekeeper threw out. At first, she insisted that the housekeeper did not throw anything out, but after much pleading she finally called her only to discovered that they were put in the garbage. Blanca made my husband go offsite a block away to a dumpster to go through the garbage with her only to recover some of our receipts, the whole time saying that this was not her responsibility and that if they were important, they should have been in the safe. Blanca was very aggressive and yelling (I have videos to prove it), threatened to call the police on us and had her husband who only spoke French come upstairs and yell at us and point fingers in our faces. There was not only zero accountability, there was no apology. Overall, this was the single worst stay we have ever had in over 25 years of traveling. DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

The host Blanca was very attentive and most helpful. The Villa was a short bus ride from the centre and the buses were every 10 minutes. The bed and bedding were fabulous and the breakfast a delight.The secure parking was a bonus.

Blanca/owner/manager/ greeter was very helpful and supportive. She bent over backwards to make it stay pleasurable.

Beautiful place with excellente custumer service. Breakfast delicous. Blanca, the owner, made a great difference. You can feel like it like home.

Villa Birdie has to be one of the best places we've stayed. The hotel is stunning from the minute you arrive. Blanca (the host & owner) greets you with a beeming smile and treats you like like a celebrity. The location is perfect, a 20 minute walk into the centre of town, regular bus & train service near by. The rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. Literally cannot fault the place and Blanca and her team are a joy to have host you!

We had an amazing time and the management was very welcoming, so friendly and informative about the hotel and area.

Villa Birdie is beautiful and our room was spotless and had all amenities. Special mention to Blanca who was always in hand and provided so much useful information. I would highly recommend that anyone stays

Stunning Villa… Great pool with free beer and soft drinks… Well appointed and super clean room with beautiful design. Fantastic breakfast with fruits, cold cuts, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice… Super friendly and knowledgeable owner with fantastic recommendations and always willing to help. Very nice refreshing bottle of wine as Expedia VIP amenity.
