Over all the property is quite good. It had a similar design compare to Grand park city hall hotel. Layout and everything almost the same but just not as clean as Singapore. Would visit again if I’m in the area. View point is definitely the money shot for this hotel

Hotel was lovely, staff were great, but make sure you explain clearly what you’d like for room service as the have Us rice instead of noodles… twice! Also if booking through Expedia for 2 adults and a child make sure your bedding is correct as we received a king bed only!

Take the time to explore Colombo because there are many hidden treasure troves. Be kind to the locals- you are after all their guests in their city. Eat in local cuisines- the best food. Enjoy

My only complaints are those lifts 😩 so slow and just need to top up breakfast- ran out of certain foods and it was not addressed.

Tidy, fairly clean and modern hotel. Check in was a lot despite booking well in advance, paid for and checking in late at night and no one else around, seemed we were not expected which was odd. Reasonable location. Tuk Tuk drivers out the front (allegedly attached to hotel) were ruthless and attempted to scam and over charge us at every opportunity so use Pick Me App instead. Expensive drinks at roof top bar and coffees at cafe were more than we’d pay in Australia so don’t bother. Pool was good. Great view. House keeping was intermittent about replacing consumables supposedly complimentary, we struggled to get ice and items delivered to room despite following provided instructions. Okay overall but more difficult to navigate than it should have been

Beautiful hotel in great location.

Stayed here for 2 nights. First night we received a room for which the toilet still had urine odour. The TV was broken and wires hanging out. 2nd night they accommodated us with a new room upon our request- which we really appreciate. However the toilet odour situation was the same. Both washroom areas had build up on tile hence was slippery. The TV- it’s a cheap piece of equipment for which it responding to its TV is a hit or a miss. Given the $$ spent here and comparison to other hotels around the area at same price point, can do better.

The Granbell is our favourite hotel whenever we are in Colombo. The staff are really friendly and very efficient, check in super fast. The infinity pool on the roof offers amazing views across to Port City and the 'Bar on Top ' is also situated on the roof and offers a great selection of food and drinks.

Hotel is very well done. It was a pleasant stay.

Amazing place & team

Ett fantastiskt hotell! Det endaste drar ner betyget något är det faktum att det ligger rätt nära tågspåret. Vi bodde på våning 8 och jag vaknade en gång under natten av tåget. Men är man inte lättväckt så är det här hotellet toppen!

ホテル自体が新しい施設で水回りもきれい。 TOTOのウォシュレットも付いていた。 バスタブもあり。 行動するにも便利な場所。

Absolutely stunning hotel, highly recommend a sea view room here. Beautiful room, excellent view, even the gym is rooms including dance studio have ocean views! Rooftop pool overlooking the ocean is magnificent, with nice minima progressive house music playing. Staff are the best. Just book your stay already!

This hotel is right on the water, with beautiful views! Two rooftop pools, an on site spa, jacuzzi near the gym with excellent views, nice staff. I love that my bathtub has a view of the sea, too. Room is very comfortable with good amenities. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed every minute of the stay at Granbell! The service was great. The food was great. The bar and pool area was great. Amazing rooftop view! The rooms were nice and clean. Overall a perfect hotel! Wish we could stayed longer!

The Granbell Hotel is a very good choice. Th restaurants, the rooftop and all the facilities are fantastic. Value for money very good! Overall an excellent experience.
