Hotel Riu Sri Lanka - All Inclusive

Lovely and clean but absolutely soulless. Stupid staff dressed up in childish costumes jumping on guests sunbathing on sun beds. Cheap limited choice of cocktails. We would never go back.

An absolutely wonderful hotel. Superb service from ALL staff. Wonderful pools and gym. Food was superb with a huge amount of choice.

We had an amazing experience at Riu Sri Lanka. More Kids friendly activities would have been great. Otherwise, it is a lovely place to stay to relax, eat and be entertained by a variety of events every night.

Hotellet er kæmpe stort og rigtig fint. Sødt personale. Dog var en af de tre pool helt grøn og måtte lukkes ned mens vi var der. Dertil fik 3 ud af 4 familiemedlemmer madforgiftning på hotellet. Heldigvis er der en sød læge tilknyttet, men vi var sat ud af spil i 3 dage.

Die letzten drei Tage nserer Rundreise durch Sri Lanka haben wir hier verbracht. Hotel entspricht genau der Beschreibung und ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Aufmerksames und nettes Personal; leckeres vielfältiges und schön präsentiertes Essen; saubere, große Pools (leider max. 1,10 tief).

We liked the stuff and services. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Rooms were perfectly clean. Food was tasty and the drinks were good. In front of the hotel you can find some Tuk Tuks to visit ambient locations. For rainy days you can also use the indoor jacuzzis and steam bath.

I booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. Positive: * Staff was very professional and very attentive. * Place was big with lots of activities * Food was good. Buffets have a lot of choice. * service was excellent * clean rooms Negative: * resort was way overcrowded. *Adult pool was overcrowded and dirty. * Pool had 80% men staring at us the whole time * People swimming in pool with regular cloths on. * drinks and cocktails selection are limited with them being watered down. * no bathroom or bed room amenities. * beach access no life guard and when you step on to the beach you get harrased by locals. Overall it will be a great place if they only allow people who stay overnight and not allow anyone on day pass. Cost of everything is a bit too high for resorts in Sri lanka.

When bigger crowd is there, staff I find it difficult to serve efficiently. May be the system needs an audit.

Es war alles perfekt. Das Personal überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen war immer frisch gekocht und abwechslungsreich. Die Buffets immer frisch angerichtet. Für uns hat es perfekt gepasst.

The property was clean and the service was excellent. Special mention to the head chef and staff at dining. The food was excellent at or above international standards. I loved the food and drinks here along with excellent customer service. Looking forward to coming back here and enjoying the wonderful hospitality of this place!!
