Fue increíble la atención que recibimos por parte del hotel, un check in rápido, un check out extraordinario, un desayuno maravilloso y unas vistas preciosas en la habitación que nos tocó. Además tuvimos una cena en su restaurante fabulosa. Recordaría al 1000 al hotel.

Great view with snowcapped mountain plus great service and breakfast. It is in the middle station from Grindelwald to First where you can go trekking. We love the flower trails. Just you have to add on your budget for the cable from Grindelwald to First round trip of CHF 57 for 2 adults with Swiss Pass(children aged below 16 free if travel with parent). This saves time if time is limited for you. Option is to walk from Grindelwald to hotel and from hotel to First but it takes time.

In staying at 9 different hotels for our 2 week vacation this was our favorite hotel. We took the Gondola up to the hotel and then from there it was very easy to go to Grindelwald 'First' and was very accesible to some great hikes in the area, and then once the Gondola stopped at 6:00 p.m. it became very quiet and peaceful at the hotel. We had the restaurant and the mountain to ourselves for the rest of the night. Although we read many comments discouraging driving up to the hotel, we definitely could have driven up as we had good weather and the paved road is very driveable in the summer.

Expensive to stay but great views. Playground available on site for young children. Restaurant had a decent menu. Fun bunk beds for kids in family room we had. Close to First for activities. Friendly helpful staff.

We only stayed one night while exploring all the fun activities of Grindelwald. Perfect location. Beautiful views and a great room for a family of 4. Very comfortable temperature at night. Both dinner and breakfast was excellent. They accommodated my gluten allergy very well.

This stay was a wonderful experience! The room was a little cozy for a family of 4 (two teens), but my teens loved the cubby bunk beds, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the view was spectacular!

Amazing property. The driving up was a bit disconcerting with the single lane road shared with the trot bikes coming down but it was worth it. The views are amazing and the rooms were great. The dinner in the restaurant was worthy of fine dining. 100% would recommend.

Amazing hotel with views of mountain peaks, glaciers, and nature! There’s a restaurant on site with great food and breakfast is included. Room is well designed and fit 6 of us easily. Bathroom is remodeled and has great shower. Parking was available for free and you can drive up or take the gondola. There’s a large playground that the kids loved! You have easy access to the gondola to get up to first mountain or down to Grindewald.

Once you arrive at Grindelwald's train station you need to walk up to Grindelwald First gondola station. The sidewalks can get a bit crowded, so that can be a bit annoying especially if you have luggage. PLEASE buy some kind of pass, AND check the time your train arrives in the city, otherwise, if you miss the last gondola up and you are stuck. Hours of operation vary depending on the season. Also, check with the staff your arrival time as their normal checkin time is until 4pm. REMEMBER every time you go down or up in the gondolas you have to pay 10 chf each way per person, so.. do yourself a favor and find out which pass you need that will cover the gondola tickets, otherwise, like me.. you will end up spending 80chf to simply go down and walk around the city. Once you make it to the hotel: WOW.. The view is simply breathtaking. We had dinner at the hotel. It was an experience/view I will NEVER forget. We were literally eating above the clouds. The room was super clean and very spacious, and we had great view. Breakfast was great as well. Simple, but it had exactly what we needed. I really, REALLY liked the hotel, and the fact that we were literally in the alps was something I will NEVER forget. However, the fact that we needed to take the gondola up and down and were restricted by their schedule (I think the last one was at 6pm), makes me think twice about returning, otherwise this hotel is a GEM.

Great view with snowcapped mountain plus great service and breakfast. It is in the middle station from Grindelwald to First where you can go trekking. We love the flower trails. Just you have to add on your budget for the cable from Grindelwald to First round trip of CHF 57 for 2 adults with Swiss Pass(children aged below 16 free if travel with parent). This saves time if time is limited for you. Option is to walk from Grindelwald to hotel and from hotel to First but it takes time.

In staying at 9 different hotels for our 2 week vacation this was our favorite hotel. We took the Gondola up to the hotel and then from there it was very easy to go to Grindelwald 'First' and was very accesible to some great hikes in the area, and then once the Gondola stopped at 6:00 p.m. it became very quiet and peaceful at the hotel. We had the restaurant and the mountain to ourselves for the rest of the night. Although we read many comments discouraging driving up to the hotel, we definitely could have driven up as we had good weather and the paved road is very driveable in the summer.

Expensive to stay but great views. Playground available on site for young children. Restaurant had a decent menu. Fun bunk beds for kids in family room we had. Close to First for activities. Friendly helpful staff.

We only stayed one night while exploring all the fun activities of Grindelwald. Perfect location. Beautiful views and a great room for a family of 4. Very comfortable temperature at night. Both dinner and breakfast was excellent. They accommodated my gluten allergy very well.

This stay was a wonderful experience! The room was a little cozy for a family of 4 (two teens), but my teens loved the cubby bunk beds, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the view was spectacular!

Amazing property. The driving up was a bit disconcerting with the single lane road shared with the trot bikes coming down but it was worth it. The views are amazing and the rooms were great. The dinner in the restaurant was worthy of fine dining. 100% would recommend.

Amazing hotel with views of mountain peaks, glaciers, and nature! There’s a restaurant on site with great food and breakfast is included. Room is well designed and fit 6 of us easily. Bathroom is remodeled and has great shower. Parking was available for free and you can drive up or take the gondola. There’s a large playground that the kids loved! You have easy access to the gondola to get up to first mountain or down to Grindewald.
