I visited in the last week of May and my 3:00pm check-in there was issue with the room so it took longer till 4 o’clock to give me the room. I was given 50 Frac voucher. But in Switzerland at a resort, doesn’t get too much for missing an hour. My room was a corner panoramic view of Iger. It’s a little bit expensive than a standard room even with that maintenance delayed that room‘s water glass hard, dry food stuck to it. The chips under the bed, the carpet and the leather bench holes from rips. That room is too expensive without any amenities.

Everything about our stay here was excellent. Our Mountain View room was worth every penny. The staff were all nice and accommodating. The spa and lounge areas were all super clean and inviting. The overall atheistic and feel is comfortable luxury.

This was one of the most poorly managed “luxury”hotel stays I have experienced. We informed the hotel in advance that we were traveling with a baby and elderly parents and requested rooms close together. Instead, we were assigned rooms in separate buildings and subjected to multiple unnecessary room moves in a single day. The situation worsened when we were moved into a smaller downgraded room without disclosure or consent. The room had an open bathroom layout with no door to the shower area — only a glass wall opening directly into the room — which was clearly unsuitable and unsafe for a baby. Management later implied that we should have specifically warned them this layout would not work for a toddler, which was dismissive and unreasonable. Additional failures included: - our baby being incorrectly registered as a 13-year-old and nearly charged accordingly, - an unclean crib, - lack of basic family accommodations, - peeling and damaged furniture, - and failure to inform guests about the hotel shuttle, forcing us to make a difficult uphill walk with luggage, a baby, and elderly family members. What made this especially unacceptable was management’s response. Despite repeated written complaints during and after the stay, management minimized the issues, failed to offer meaningful resolution, and eventually stopped responding altogether. I would strongly discourage families traveling with children or elderly relatives from staying here.

It became very bad and boring after what was so excellent I visited it for the third time in a row I was saying to myself the first and second time, there is nothing better than him. Fantástico hotel! Novo, moderno, com bonita decoração. Acesso não muito fácil a pé, pois é um pouco acima da rua, precisa subir uma ladeira. Estacionamento no subterrâneo com fácil acesso. Quarto limpo, bonito e organizado. Linda vista para as montanhas, e café da manhã delicioso. Opções de compras e restaurantes a poucos passos.

We loved our 2 night stay at the Bergwelt Grindelwald! Our room was beautiful with a comfortable bed. The staff were all so helpful and friendly including assisting us with our Jungfrau reservation. The included breakfast buffet was delicious and had a huge variety of foods to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel!

Staying at Bergwelt Grindelwald was an experience! It was a beautiful hotel with amazing hospitality. We booked a corner room and fell in love with the view that came with the room as well as how big and spacious our room was! The hotels location is also super convenient when it comes to wanting to stay in Grindelwald! The train station was down the road, grocery stores around the corner, amazing restaurants nearby, and easy access to Grindelwald First!! Shout out to the people working in room service- they were super attentive and so sweet!! Also, the breakfast every morning was AMAZING. We only ever spent money on lunch and dinner because breakfast was actually delicous! Loved it here!
