I would stay at the Gasthof Schoenegg B&B again in a heartbeat. For a true Swiss Chalet like experience this is it. The view from our corner room was something out of a dream. We slept with the windows open so we woke up to mountain views on each side every morning. The attention to detail for the breakfast is incredible. Also being a bit of a germaphobe is not easy but I couldn’t complain about anything here. Be careful if you have big luggage as it’s a bit of stairs to go up and down. There is on site laundry for a fee which is helpful. The location is a short bus ride from Interlaken OST station. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We really loved our stay here.

The hotel is so picturesque and cute. Even though the room was small, by gosh, the view from the window was worth the stay. It’s basically, a view of the famous mountains and looking down to the city of Interlaken . The outside appears like an old log cabin. The interior is decorated the same. Shower was strong and the room was clean. We had to open the windows for cool refreshing air and we were able to sleep soundly at night. No Noise.
We took the bus from the train station and walked a few steps to the hotel after alighting from the bus. The area around it has old houses and is picturesque.
Breakfast was sufficient!
We would book another stay here if we decide to visit Interlaken again!

Nice guesthouse. The owner is very nice. I arrive very late but the owner wait me and help me a lot. Unfortunately, it doesn't have lift so I need to lift my big luggage to third floor. Anyway, the owner helps me too. The guesthouse is very lovely, clean and has beautiful surrounding area. it's pity that I can stay only 1 night because I have other places to visit.

Beautiful spot with a view over Interlaken. Staff packed us a nice breakfast when we would have to leave too early the next day to sightsee and not be able to attend the breakfast bar. Very nice. Good location right on the bus route, 5 minutes into town.

We loved Gasthof Schoenegg so much! The views are incredible. Very easy access within minutes to Interlaken OST train station by the local free bus. The breakfast was excellent, The ability to use the laundry facilities helped us so much! The building is older but adds to the warmth and charm. Everything was very clean and tidy. I would stay here again! Stay HERE and get away from the crowds just down the road in Interlaken.

While the property could use a refresh, it was quaint, clean and quiet. It’s outside of town, but there’s a bus just up the road that comes every 20 minutes and the hotel provides a travel pass. Breakfast was great. Laundry is available, the view from the back terrace is beautiful.

We really enjoyed the accommodation. It is located in an easy-to-access and quiet area, very close to Interlaken Ost station. We stayed in a room with a river view, and the scenery is absolutely beautiful!
The breakfast is simple (nothing excessive), but very good... we did not miss anything.
Perhaps one point to consider is accessibility for some people, since depending on the room you may need to go up or down stairs carrying your luggage by hand, as well as the lack of a TV in the room. However, these aspects may be part of the originality of the place and your local culture (and none of this was a problem for us).
Everyone treated us very well, they were helpful, and assisted us with all our questions. I strongly recommend this place!

The view from our room and the common area was amazing with mountains, river, trains. The bed was soft and super comfy. Room was very clean. Only a 5 min drive to the downtown with many dining and shopping options. The only thing we didn't like was needing a key to exit the property at night, I can see needing a key to enter but needing a key to exit seemed like it could be a safety issue in an emergency.

it was one of the best B&B experiences we have ever had, the staff was so wonderful and understanding. the rooms were beautiful, with great views and gorgeously decorated. the lounging area was so cute and cozy. the breakfast arrangements were wonderful. truly felt like we were staying at a friend’s house with the level of hospitality shown to us.

Hilltop lodging with Swiss charm just outside Interlaken city center. Car is helpful (free parking!) as there are not many walkable conveniences nearby. Room was comfortable with great views over Interlaken and mountains. Included with stay breakfast is good - standard continental. Staff is excellent - super helpful and very welcoming. We enjoyed our stay here!

I love this place. Very easy to get to with bus 102 and 7 minutes away from Interlaken Ost. It came with breakfast although I haven’t really avail it everyday because I had to get out early most of the time. The place is a bit spacious than what I expected and I travelled by myself and I felt safe all the time. It has a beautiful view and the staff were very nice and helpful. Can definitely recommend.
