It was a great stay in Taipei. Comfortable. Clean. Most of staff were polite and friendly. Although I do need to point out that the receptionist to the bar on 3rd floor was a bit rude. I asked the receptionist for a table for 2 and he told us that the min charge was NTD800 per person. Did we look cheap? Were we, as guests of the hotel, not dressed up to the standard of the bar? I’ve been to a fair number of hotels with great bars inside and I’ve always been seated and served a menu first, before a staff would inform me of any corkage fee or min spending. No, we didn’t feel welcome from the bar receptionist at all. So instead, we went out to the other bars in the area, including Bar Mood and Wa-Shu. Both were really unique and amazing bars and we did enjoy the night! If I had one constructive comment to make, it would be that the hotel should spend more resources screening its staff and weeding out someone like the bar receptionist.

Truly professional, attentive and courteous staff; clean and beautifully maintained rooms and amenities; convenient location, short walk to metro and buses; a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and shop options nearby. Highly recommend this hotel, one of the best we have stayed with.

Great location, close to MRT. The bathroom in our suite was incredible - beautiful and had a shower and tub. Great water pressure.

Staff were super friendly and helpful (always grabbing the door and/or offering us an umbrella on the way out), bar staff included (the drinks and food were so good that we ended most nights in the East End bar - Clay made us feel very welcome there). The location is perfect as it is right by a bunch of shopping, department stores, restaurants, two metro lines, etc. And the room was more than enough space for the two of us, with a large bathroom and bathtub, along with all the amenities and nice-to-have's.

The hotel’s location is very good, rooms have a creative design and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast every morning. There are 4 options on the menu, all prepared in the open kitchen - really a great way to start your day. I also recommend trying out the bar, the drinks are amazing.

We stayed here for 7 nights. At first we thought it was bit quirky but within 1 day we came to love the quirkiness , and enjoyed the amazing rooftop pool and the bar on the 3 rd floor has the best award winning cocktails ( well done Clay) The front desk staff could not be more helpful with a shout out to Spud. As for location having spent 7 days solely in Taipei , there is no better location.

Fantastic location, close to metro, shopping and food. Check in/out was efficient and quick. Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations and taxis, especially Spud. Would definitely recommend. Rooms were clean and well appointed with free snacks and drinks.

Walking distance to mrt. Many dining option along the street. Good breakfast and nice cosy restaurant and hotel

Treated myself to a stay here. Really enjoyed it. Pricey for sure, but nice rooms, comfy beds, and some of the best, friendliest and most intelligent front desk service you’ll find anywhere in the world. I was traveling alone and staff were proactive, welcoming, anticipated my needs without being invasive, and went above and beyond. Deep soak tub was wonderful after walking on a cold, wet wintry day. Interesting area too. Many fun small shops and things to shop and eat. One area to improve: there was no smart TV with built-in Netflix, Spotify etc. nowadays, at this price point and for a hotel of this calibre, one would expect it.

The hotel is well accessible with train connection. Great dining options and shopping within walking distance of the hotel.

Very quiet room with nice design, the Urban room in small in size so consider a bigger room if you have a lot of luggage.

Terrific property and staff.
