Green Turaco

Check in was horrible. Slow and they didnt even know I had booked. Multiple calls were made before i saw my room My room was not nice. Hair on the floor in the bathroom. No bathroom mat. FLUSH DIDNT WORK. I had to use the bidet to fill up the water. Flies in the room. No soap. Luckily i had my own. Pool was dirty. ( i didnt use it but i saw) Only plus side is that there was an AC.

I wouldn’t consider this area safe and would not recommend as a honeymoon destination. It was very noisy at night time, constant horning etc. There were insects everywhere, including indoors, lizards, ants, worms etc. Mary was very kind and ensured we had breakfast however, it wasn’t the most pleasant experience due to the location being very noisy and the cleanliness. The pool had insects floating about inside it and Wi-Fi didn’t connect from inside the room. We used the little rickshaws to travel back and forth but overall wouldn’t recommend

No suelo poner malas criticas de ningun sitio, porque siempte intento sacar lo bueno. Pero, vivimos un momento bastante malo. Una de las noches nos llamo a la puerta el chico aue vigila de noche. Se puso a llorar diciendo que si podiamos darle dinero para su padre enfermo. Le dijimos que no. Al rato volvio y dijo que habia conseguido dinero y que se iba a meterlo en el banco. Que nos dejaba ahi encerrados. H asi fue, encerrados 3h en el recinto totalmente solos. Eso no es normal. Volvio a las 12 de la noche y le dijimos q necesitabamos ir a por cena. Nos dijo que nos llevaba al restaurante a cambio de 10 dolares. No me parece normal nada de esto. La luz se iba mil veces y nunca tuvimos agua caliente. El dia q nos fuimos nos llevaron al aeropuerto y se quedo sin gasolina y nos quedamos tirados.Solo destacaria que la chica de la mañana es adorable.

we a arrived around midnight so the location of the hotel is OK couse its near the airport

Very handy for our last night since it was convenient to stay close to airport ( as we needed to leave in the middle of night ) Staff was very nice as they did take us to airport in the middle of the night . Is good if you want to stay near stone town which is of easy access on a taxi . For us was good option for our last day as we just wanted to visit stone town market and be close to airport .
