The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is great and is essentially in the airport. Beautiful view of Kili from the pool. Pretty, tropical looking grounds. Would stay again.

We had a nice stay. The staff was very accommodating. Being close to the airport was key to decision to stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! The property was just what a rustic African lodge should be! I was there during dry season and I am sure the property is beautiful and green during and after rains! So convenient to the airport! Just a fun, friendly place! Food was very good also!

Convenient - it’s physically inside the airport gates. Check out was at 10:00. If your flight is in the evening they have you check out and store your bags at reception; you can remain on the grounds by the pool or in the restaurant or bar while waiting. The gift shop is great if you’ve not been able to find a souvenir for someone before departing.

J'avais choisi cet hotel pour la proximité de l'aéroport, j'ai réservé le transfert et le chauffeur était bien present à mon arrivée à 2h du matin. Je suis donc satisfait. Pour le reste, l'hotel est vieillot, dommage mais il manque d'entretien, chambre et jardin. Piscine très agréable et belle vue sur le K. Personnel sympa.

Wifi was not working in the room due to some problem. Had to go to the bar to connect to wifi which was spotty. Very old furnishings, poor bathroom facilities and non-smoking staff except Teresia (so?). The hotel manager was unapologetic about the wifi issue and did not offer any other amenities to compensate. Very poor standard for a hotel that charges almost $200 USD per night.

Way over priced.. Food was awlful.. Toilet didnt work. Staff VERY eager to assist and were friendly BUT communication was a struggle and their hygiene could of been better.. Strong BODY ODOR. I am very disappointed..

Comme je devais prendre un vol très tôt le matin, c'était la meilleure option pour moi. Hôtel sympa et à moins de 5 minutes de l'aéroport du Kilimanjaro. Ma chambre était spacieuse, confortable et bien aménagée. La nourriture était bonne et Elizabeth était vraiment agréable. Comme je partais avant l'ouverture du restaurant, j'avais demandé à avoir une boite petit dej, mais le responsable a ouvert le restaurant 1/2 heure plus tôt, afin que je puisse manger tranquillement. C'était parfait :)

Love this place. Wish we had stayed longer. Very clean, smells good, excellent service, amazing atmosphere, free shuttle to/from airport. Nothing to complain about.

We loved Kia Lodge! It is not your average airport hotel - the grounds are beautiful and the rooms are really nice. The staff was super friendly and the food was good. Only issue was that there was no wifi in the rooms. Other than that our stay was great. Would definitely recommend!

Very easy checkin and beautiful property. There was no way to contact the hotel to organize for the free shuttle. It is a 5min drive. None of the posted numbers work and there are no email addresses. It would be nice for the hotel to offer free shuttles if hotels.com is going to post that service on the booking site. Thanks!

The pool was not swimmable. My friend had her room moved three times and then people in her final room for two hours until near midnight trying to fix her air conditioner.

As always just a stop over to catch the early morning flight to Nairobi. Had a meal here for the first time - was good but should use some more of the freshness (eg fruit) Tanzania has to offer. And not everybody wants to eat a 3 course meal. And please, please -> what about fresh coffee. Tanzania has excellent coffee (farms). Anyway, the rooms are spacious and clean, the staff very friendly .... we‘ll come again. And to hotels.com : never make us feel the place is almost booked. It was deserted ....

Great views of Kilimanjaro in the morning and evening. Quiet and very welcoming.

Very convenient location - located right at the airport. Great service and free transfer to the hotel at all times. The grounds are nice but rooms are a little tired. The restaurant is OK but is very overpriced. All staff were excellent.

Beautiful African decor, tropical setting and outdoor bar. Delightful helpful staff especially Kanu in the bar/restaurant area!
