Paje Beach Apartments and hotel is a strong choice if you value a beachfront with direct access to the beach. clean,comfortable and huge rooms.the staff is very nice.

Loved staying here! Location is perfect, service is great and the rooms are big and clean. I also really liked the dive senter that is connected to the hotel.

Veldig fint hotell med hyggelige ansatte, som hjalp oss med å finne gode aktiviteter i området. Her har man alt man trenger for å slappe av og nyte ferien på Zanzibar.

Super nettes Personal, gute frühstücksauswahl und das Kaffee und Restaurant waren auch gut. Die Zimmer waren schön, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Shampoo und Duschgel waren vorhanden. Ausflüge und Transfers wurden zuverlässig für uns organisiert. Es gab immer mal wieder Stromausfall, das war aber in der ganzen Gegend so.

Nice hotel in the middel of Paje beach. Beds where really good, bathroom was pretty simple. Great pool area with bar and access to beach. Really nice staff. Lots of restaurants nearby such as Shanga next door, and also a skybar across the street.

Great self catering apartment But located close to bar and Fri night and Sat night had loud music till early morning.

Dejligt hotel, altid liggestole ledige, wifi virkede ok

Pros: nice staff, helpful. Cons: room 108 is a very noisy room, it’s basically a pubic walk way to the diving school, there is constant coming and going’s outside your door. I lost count of the amount of people that stand outside this room and stare at themselves in the mirrored door to this room, it’s very annoying. Also this property has several power cuts a day, one power cut lasted well over an hour, I went to the ATM in town to pass time during the power cut, I came back and still no power. Then there was a power cut late in the evening when I was having a shower and the water went cold, it was pitch black and I ended up colliding with the bathroom door trying to find my way to my phone so that I could use my phone light. Also very annoying is the people that constantly hatrass you on the beach, they are relentless, ut becomes very stressful asking to be left alone every 5 minutes. I wanted to just have a peaceful walk along the beach and it is impossible. I even put my headphones on in the hope that I wouldn’t be harassed because I couldn’t hear them, but they walk alongside you anyway and persistently try getting your attention. I would not return to Zanzibar again because of this.

Firstly, the employees are great and very helpful! The hotel is right on the beach, and close to other beach hotels, and restaurants. Easy access to kite surfing, scuba, and jet skis. You can also walk out what seems to be a mile into the ocean without having to swim. Beautiful beach! Having got the larger suite, bedroom, bathroom, and balcony were 10/10. The entrance room however was a little dirty, and the amenities, were a little dated. The couch is definitely not to be slept on either. However, having seen my friends single room booking, I would probably choose that next time instead! The restaurant on the facility is great, the coffee/ smoothie bar is 10/10 and the food is also never a miss. The view from the bar and restaurant are also a perfect place to relax and unwind. There are people offering massages, Masai handicrafts, and other locally made items on the beach, (they are not overbearing, and very polite) The walk from the facility to the Main Street is a bit odd at night, however I wouldn't skip it! The Zanzibar people are friendly, and mean you no harm! (just bring a flashlight as it is dark.) There is a small food court right next to the mosque, with familiar foods. But my favorite food the whole trip was actually from the street vendors just down the road! I would definitely stay here again!

Meget pænt og hyggeligt sted med venligt personale og lige ned til stranden. Der er ligeledes gode pools og mulighed for at sidde udenfor sit værelse og nyde en drink eller hvad man nu har lyst til. Stedet hjælper ligeledes med at finde kørsel og hjælper med at booke diverse ting. Vandtrykket kunne godt være bedre og det samme med aircondition. Restauranten er heller ikke noget at råbe hurra for, men de har en god morgenmad 🙌. Alt i alt vil jeg gerne kunne anbefale stedet til andre.

Very cute hotel! I wish there was more entertainment in the evening. Friday music band was fantastic!

Fint opphold og hyggelig personale. Strømmen kom og gikk, men det er muligens tilfelle for hele området. Aircondition ble ikke så kald som vi ønsket og frokostbuffeten var helt ok. Rommet var av god størrelse og samlet sett hadde vi et fint opphold til en relativt billig pris.

Perfekt lokasjon. Chill plass å være.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and created a lovely atmosphere. The place was clean and we were very comfortable. The Paje beach and the kite surfing was unbelievable.

Our stay at Paje Beach Apartments was wonderul. We were in a room at the back of the property so had Friday night party music from the village. The rest of the week was not an issue at all and the area in front of the apartments on the beach was wonderful. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.

Hyvä hotelli rannalla ja huone oli positiivinen kokemus. Aamupala oli tosi suppea, mutta sillä pärjäsi ihan hyvin. Retkien myyjät olivat erittäin rasittavia, heti kun poistuit hotellilta he olivat kimpussa ja välillä tulivat ihan hotellin ravintolan eteen huutelemaan retkistä vaikka olit syömässä/drinkeillä. Muuten hyvä kokemus!
