Great location with a few minute walk to the beach or direct access down the stairs during low tide! The staff were great and they were also able to organize all the activities I wanted on the spot like local fishing and sunset sailing. This was the perfect place to relax for a few days at the end of the trip!

If you go for half board the 5 course menu is very good and versatile day to day. The room was a ‘love shack’ on the beach which was nice, stepped out straight onto the sand with nice sea views. Staff were friendly and it has a pool. The inside layout of the room is totally open (no door on the toilet just a half partition wall) so you’re in for an intimate stay! The rest of the hotel felt confused, there are surfing motifs as decorations, it’s for families (lots of kids) so it’s not quiet and romantic; the food was unfortunately the worst we had any hotel we stayed in Zanzibar. We also wished we stayed closed to Nungwi as we had to spend $10 each way on a taxi. It’s the one hotel we wouldn’t stay again sadly. Loads of potential I just think they need to figure out their ‘vibe’.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. However, it was disappointing that the pool was salt water and small especially considering that at this time of year there is no beach due (I gather from the staff) to the wind direction and depending on the tide it can be a fair walk to the sea. We had problems with our AC, the staff were helpful in getting it working but it was not very efficient. The resort prides itself on sustainable eco friendly tourism which is absolutely great so I was surprised when the waitress brought us bottled water (for $2.50 US) at dinner rather than a jug of the bulk mineral water (free) which the manager had shown me to cut down on plastic bottles. The ambiance of the resort is good and the location on the edge of Nungwi is a great mix of quiet with lively restaurants close by.

the room was good, however, we were there for 2 nights, the room was okay but we experienced power outages constantly through out our stay, at one point the power was out for at least 3 hours, i was told it was due to the area outages but they advertise having generators so that did not make sense to us, since we came during peak hot season. also the menu was the same for the 2 days we were there and I was not informed that soda's were not part of the full board package that we paid for. we could not utilize the beach due to corals and sea urchins. not a kids friendly hotel,

Levd upp till alla förväntningar vi hade. Lugn miljö, fantastisk utsikt över havet och strandmiljö även innan man kom till den riktiga stranden i anslutning till havet. The Ocean view is amazing. You can walk on the Ocean during Low Tide. The private pool is awesome with ocean views. The staff was wondetful and on top of everything to ensure your stay is a great one! Laundry service is quick and done wrll. The room was a ‘love shack’ on the beach which was nice, stepped out straight onto the sand with nice sea views. Staff were friendly and it has a pool. The inside layout of the room is totally open (no door on the toilet just a half partition wall) so you’re in for an intimate stay! The rest of the hotel felt confused, there are surfing motifs as decorations, it’s for families (lots of kids) so it’s not quiet and romantic; the food was unfortunately the worst we had any hotel we stayed in Zanzibar. We also wished we stayed closed to Nungwi as we had to spend $10 each way on a taxi. It’s the one hotel we wouldn’t stay again sadly. Loads of potential I just think they need to figure out their ‘vibe’.

This hotel offers a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere with beautifully kept grounds, attentive staff, delicious menu items, and beautiful ocean views. It is very close to the bustling Nungwi area, where you will find shopping, restaurants, and fun boating trips, or you can simply enjoy the pool and lounge area, volleyball, and other activities. Great hotel for anyone seeking a breezy relaxing vacation. I had a great time!

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. However, it was disappointing that the pool was salt water and small especially considering that at this time of year there is no beach due (I gather from the staff) to the wind direction and depending on the tide it can be a fair walk to the sea. We had problems with our AC, the staff were helpful in getting it working but it was not very efficient. The resort prides itself on sustainable eco friendly tourism which is absolutely great so I was surprised when the waitress brought us bottled water (for $2.50 US) at dinner rather than a jug of the bulk mineral water (free) which the manager had shown me to cut down on plastic bottles. The ambiance of the resort is good and the location on the edge of Nungwi is a great mix of quiet with lively restaurants close by.

the room was good, however, we were there for 2 nights, the room was okay but we experienced power outages constantly through out our stay, at one point the power was out for at least 3 hours, i was told it was due to the area outages but they advertise having generators so that did not make sense to us, since we came during peak hot season. also the menu was the same for the 2 days we were there and I was not informed that soda's were not part of the full board package that we paid for. we could not utilize the beach due to corals and sea urchins. not a kids friendly hotel,

La suite Frangipani è stupenda, pulita e spaziosa. Offre una vista frontale sull'oceano, godibile dalla meravigliosa splash pool posta al limitare del patio in legno. L'oceano distava circa 50mt dal nostro letto. Stupendo.

Levd upp till alla förväntningar vi hade. Lugn miljö, fantastisk utsikt över havet och strandmiljö även innan man kom till den riktiga stranden i anslutning till havet. The Ocean view is amazing. You can walk on the Ocean during Low Tide. The private pool is awesome with ocean views. The staff was wondetful and on top of everything to ensure your stay is a great one! Laundry service is quick and done wrll. This is truely a hidden oasis and entry secured by gate and 24 hoIrs security.
