J.B. Hut Bungalows

Very nice rooms, super chill. Great owners, nice restaurant. Would definitely stay again!

I got what I hoped for. A pleasant bungalow with great views of the trees below and the sea in the distance with a balcony equipped with hammock, desk for my writing. Most of the time it was quiet, just on Friday there was an event at the new Apple Resort higher up the hill which I could hear for a while, but it was fine. I ate in the restaurant most days and chatted with the friendly owner. The beach is a short walk down the road. Highly recommended. I stayed a week. I know others stay much longer. Thank you!

Direkt nach meiner ersten Nacht habe ich meinen Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft verlängert. Mein Bungalow war sehr sauber. Ich hatte einen guten Ventilator, und ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett. Das WLAN im Zimmer hat gut funktioniert. Auf Nachfrage bekommt man alles was man braucht. (neue Handtücher, Toilettenpapier,..) Der Ausblick meiner überdachten Terasse mit Hängematte war einfach ein Traum! Der Pool war auch sehr schön und angenehm. Die Besitzerin war sehr nett! Wenn man nicht Roller fahren kann, ist man jedoch ziemlich unflexibel, da es nur Sammeltaxis gibt, die vergleichsweise sehr teuer sind. Für mich war dieser Aufenthalt etwas sehr besonderes.

Il bungalow vista-mare non lo è affatto si intravede a mala pena essendo la struttura non prospiciente; l’accoglienza è stata pessima perché avendo io avuto problemi con la consegna del bagaglio, dopo essere trascorse sette ore mi sono sentita rispondere che non era un problema lori ma della Bangkok Airways, avendo io solo chiesto un aiuto nella gestione dei solleciti alla compagnia per una questione linguistica . Pulizia non sufficiente : lenzuola macchiate e polvere sotto i letti in gran quantità .

JB Hut er et familiedrevet sted med et veldig hyggelig vertskap. Jeg følte meg velkommen og ivaretatt på alle måter. De serverer nydelig mat fra eget kjøkken. Det er kort vei til stranda utsikten fra balkongen er fantastisk. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake hit.

Perfect place where to start visiting the island. The fan standard room is very simple but it's what you get with the price. Be aware that there is no housekeeping, but I'm sure that if you want new bed sheets you can ask for clean ones at the reception. The bathroom is clean. I really enjoyed the balcony with the hammock and the amazing view on the ocean from all the rooms. The hotel is really calm, bungalows are surrounded by vegetation and you will be able to hear criquets, geckos and birds all day long. No need to go far for your breakfast or your dinners, Bella prepares amazing and affordable meals. You can get wi-fi at the restaurant only. I intially booked for 3 nights and ended up spending a week at JB hut. I would recommend to hire bikes directly there or more generally from your hotels as you might encounter not so honest companies in koh phangan as well as in koh tao and koh samui (they keep your passport and ask for money even though the bike is perfect). Bella and her family are honest and won't try to scam you. Transport from the pier to the resort is 150 bhat if you take a shared taxi, count 20 minutes.

We were really disappointed with the J. B. Hut Bungalow after reading great reviews. The owners were really friendly and the view over the sea was fantastic but that was it really. It was the most basic room we have stayed infor a long time. There was a bed and fan in the room and that was it. The bathroom was quite dirty and the room smelt damp. It wasn't cleaned in the four days we stayed there and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time before. The hammock on the balcony was full of food bits and rubbish. Aside from this, the area of Haad Yao was beautiful. The beach was stunning, great restaurants and a few small bars. This easily outweighed the disappointment of the JB.

Magnificent service for a very reasonable price. This particular part of the island was easily my favourite and had the best of everything. Would definitely recommend to absolutely everyone.

Très bel endroit, de beaux petits bungalows, simples mais propres avec air climatisé. Belle piscine. À moins de 7 minutes de marche de la plage. La propriétaire, Bella, est super sympathique. Restaurant sur place très abordable et bon. Je recommande!

Had a great visit! Chill place to stay at and if you want to party they will help you with any kind of travel arrangement. The staff was wonderful in every way, thank you for a great stay!

Bella est très accueillante , dès le début du séjour elle m'a mise en confiance . Je suis restée dans un des fan bungalow avec une vue magnifique sur la mer , la terrasse avec la hamac est très agréable. La chambre est un peu sombre mais qu'importe car on n'y reste peu vu ce qui nous entoure. La mer est très proche , à peine 2 minutes de marche pour y accéder (juste après le 7/11) .
