Royal Thai Villas Phuket

The tide goes out for such a long time, you are looking at mud flats instead of beach. When tide is in it is beautiful, but not fir swimming. The rooms and grounds are beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend to friends. It is on the quit side of Phuket, which we liked.

The room and accommodation were rustic and unique. We loved it! The staff were friendly and nice. However, there was some misconceptions as to what was charged on our account at departure. Everytime we sat for a meal or snack, we were served a glass of water each. Thinking it was part of the service only to find that the Finance Lady, charged us .50 Thai Bhat per glass, and over counting on a couple of occasions. The Staff was super sweet and helpful. We were on this vacation to celebrate my wife’s birthday, when they found out they put together a very nice meal with wine and cake on the veranda over looking the beach!! Very good, however, again no one mentioned that we were paying for the activities (over 3,000 Bhat). Now, having said this, none of this would have been a concern because it was well worth the costs… but not being told in advance was disconcerting. Great place! We’d do it again, especially now knowing what to expect. Thanks!

This is a unique and beautiful resort. It is like staying at a museum with service. The rooms are kept spotless, daily maid service. Breakfast is included, and very good. Menu for lunch or dinner is also avaliable.The staff is friendly and willing to help all the time. The only thing I didn't care for too much is the way the rooms are air-conditioned, it gets pretty warm in those wooden villas. Never-the-less I would come here again. The beach is right in front of the property and the pool is kept clean.

We had such a great stay at Royal Thai Villa, first our flight landed very late at night at 9.40 pm minded that it took an hour from Phuket Airport to Royal Thai Villa. I already contact the hotel manager and informed her what time we would be there so she made sure someone would stay up and checked us in (the employees live on the premises) we also already arranged transportation (Birdy Phuket transportation service) and everything went smooth from there. The villa was amazing we stayed in one in the middle and the built and decor was high quality. The week we stay was a little bit quiet with one-two room (out of six villas) occupied and no complaint because we got the whole property for ourself. From the beach front, pools and the lobby. The employees were very quiet. respectful and you won’t even know that they were there but when you need something they would deliver fast. Anyway we love it so much and never want to leave and for sure would return. Now I purchased a flight protection from Expedia and we flew with Delta whom delayed our flight so we missed the connection flights and we checked in one day late meaning we lost one unused day that we already paid and the insurance denied the claim said we cannot got the money back from the stay interruption from the delayed flight. I WILL NOT BUY STAY PROTECTION from Expedia ever again! The hotel is amazing, the stay protection plus is disappointing! Be aware.

We really enjoyed our stay. The villa was both spacious and comfortable. The teak woodwork was impressive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very peaceful and quiet yet close enough to Patong and Phuket town. Great value!

Beautiful location but not walkable to anywhere. Friendly staff who don’t speak English. Museum-like furniture but not so usable. Minimum hour to airport around 1000 baht. Perfect for couple seeking romance or single seeks an escape

Our room had no windows at all and was not as advertised at all. No garden view, no view at all due to lack of any windows. No private patio, no separate bedroom. Hotel bar and restaurant closes at 7:30. Pool area small and in need of cleaning. We were unable to stay with no windows and they would not offer any refund. Terrible hotel but friendly staff, even if they were unable to help.

They had one slice of toast for breakfast with jam . And i paid $16 usd per day . Such rip off

When I booked with Expedia it said that there was free airport transfer, which is one of the reasons I booked this place. However, when I emailed to confirm pick up, I was told that there was no such service. When you enter the hotel, there’s a sign for the restaurant, but no sign for reception or lobby. So I wandered around the property without guidance. the site says that there is a multilingual staff, but they only know a few phrases so they can’t help. The staff is out of sight at all times, there’s no one to ask questions too. I ordered a bottle of rose…250 baht a glass, but they charged me 1490 for the bottle. Makes ZERO sense. But they don’t understand what you’re trying to say so you just suck it up and pay for it. I found a huge cockroach in my room. The property is very secluded from other establishments. To get around you have get a Grab. The beach sand is very muddy and virtually impossible to get into in the late afternoon as the water recedes far out from shore. The breakfast service was good. They did come into my room and make it up every day. I did appreciate that they provided bug spray and an umbrella plus beach towels. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend this place.

This simply the best hotel I have ever stayed. There rooms are spectacular, the service is fantastic, the restaurant is delicious and at a great price. The pool is nice and the location is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing time yet 5 minutes from all the action.

Royal Villas is a Great place to stay and I highly recommend it just manage expectations. It is a remote quiet place from the busier rawai area but then with that comes the fact that it’s not really in walking distance to anything, and you have to take a quick 10 minute taxi to places, like rawai seafood market and nai harn beach, It is somewhat harder for the taxis to find but they will eventually find it. It’s just small streets closer to the water way so the first time in there your taxi driver may need to ask around for the specific side street to go to. The place is quiet, but then with that comes the fact that there is not the abundance of staff and in-house restaurants so just expect that besides the free breakfast, you probably will have to book a taxi to go to local restaurants and things to do. So expect a very peaceful and scenic place to stay with amazing views, but be aware that you will not have staff to hand hold you with things to do on site or offsite and the staff do not even show up to the premises until about 8:30 AM and so food is not available until about that time as well, which was fine for me. Красивый интерьер, но огромный минус - слышимость, мы проживая на 1-ом этаже слышали буквально все, совсем ВСЕ, что происходило на втором этаже. Деревянный пол с просветом между досок, т.е. ещё и видели свет! На втором этаже от крыши очень жарко вечером, дышать нечем, и так же все слышно! На последующие 6 дней мы бронировали 2 большие виллы с отдельной стоящей кухней. Так вот, отдых в данных виллах прошел под девизом:ну наверное могло быть и хуже,поскорее бы уехать от сюда. По пунктам: 1. В столовой грязно,столы не протирают,мусор пока не скажешь, не уберут. Посуду в принципе не моют. Приехали, а все стаканы/кружки/бокалы с отпечатками губ и остатков разводов. Стали просить каждый раз мыть отдельно, давали за данную опцию 100 бат за помывку. 2. У бассейна всего 6 шезлонгов, а вилл 6,соответственно максимум человек 12!находиться у бассейна проблематично потому что солнце светит весь день и зонтики не удаётся поставить так чтоб была тень,мало места. Бассейн не плитка,а застеленная яма брезентом. Его убирают только утром, соответственно когда ветер, то с пальм летят ветки, живность, и после обеда он уже грязный. Так же не видно ступенек, они сливаются, легко промахнуться. 3.обслуживание/сервис: два человека клининга и два сменяющихся администратора.
