Sairee Hut Resort

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this property. The room I reserved was not as pictured - instead, I was placed in the unrenovated section of the property, which they had advertised with photos from the newly renovated side of the property. There were no usable wall outlets, the room had red ants all over the wall and floor, and there were mosquitoes. I extended quite a bit of patience and understanding, recognizing that it’s an island and so insects are going to be part of the situation as was the power going in and out throughout the evenings, but it did not lend itself to any sort of vacation vibes. The room was very shabby and made me feel like I was essentially at a Cabin in summer camp. When I brought the situation to the front desk attention, they were fairly kind about it and I was able to get the same room in the renovated side of the property that did in fact look like some of the photos I saw online. Also, the morning breakfast was a terrible way to start the day. Arriving two minutes before the 730 opening time I was scolded by the resort staff for arriving early and being in their way. I was just trying to make sure I was there when they opened at 7:30 on the dot so I could grab something before heading out for a full day of scuba. Overall, unless you’re able to get 100% guarantee that you will be in one of the newly renovated rooms I’d say skip this place.

Foto’s vertekenen enorm, het is oude verwaarloosde bende. Ontbijt verschrikkelijk we zijn weggegaan op 5 minuten lopen heerlijk ontbijt. Alles moet cash betaald worden niks kan op je kamer. Lekker makkelijk bij het strand of zwembad….. Locatie prima, dit nooit meer.

The location is fantastic, beach front at Sairee and has a swimming pool. This is what you are paying for. You definitely want to stay in Sairee part of the island as all the evening activities are up this way and short walk and get a moped for all the viewpoints and other beaches you can see in the day. We stayed in the cheaper ‘triple room’ which was very basic. The room was disappointing and didn’t meet my expectations for money spent, seems all the marketing for this hotel is based upon the swimming pool, and the expensive rooms. The Triple was a very small room, a double bed and a single bed with an en suite. The bathroom was grotty, there was no hangers or shelves to unpack any clothes and 1 small mirror and only 1 plug socket. If you forget to put the ‘clean me’ card out, they won’t refresh the room, we found out the hard way Have to say I did have envy looking at all other room types in the complex as they looked very luxurious. We wish we paid more for one of them. We had some fantastic food at the hotel restaurant in the evening that we had to pay for but the breakfast was included but fairly poor compared to the standard of breakfast you can get out in Koh Tao

Hotellin henkilökunta oli avuliasta. Ranta tarjosi hienot auringonlaskut. Aamupala vähän niukahko. Meille sattui rauhallinen huone hienolla näköalalla.

Très bel hôtel. Prévoir des multi-prises car elles ne sont pas facile d'accès.

Die guten Jahre sind vorbei, sowohl auf Koh Tao, aber auch im Sairee Hut. Es ist zum Selfie Instaziel mutiert. Das Personal des Sairee Hut schaut zum großen Teil weg, wenn man es trifft. Die Zimmer werden nur noch für neu ankommende Gäste gereinigt. An Bestandstagen, trotz Schild, nicht immer der Fall. Ich war bereits 4x Mal in diesem Hotel, es wird immer schlechter.

Hôtel, bien situé, un peu bruyant la nuit car quartier festif, bon petit déjeuner avec excellents œufs, riz et autres fruits. Drôle d’odeur en chambre indéfinissable, peut être insecticide ou autres, mais quand même des moustiques, sinon en crique nous avons vu deux tortues et un passage sur les deux îles à droite de la baie, hyper touristique mais s, nous avons marché vers le sud et le nord pour chercher un peu d’authenticité, nous avons trouvé forêt ou dojo, mais que de pollution plastique

Rommet var kjempefint og moderne. Bra renhold. Hotell personale var meget bra. De har ekstern selskap ansvarlig for frokost og restaurant. Frokost var begrenset og kvaliteten dårlig. Positivt at de lagde omelett og tilsvarende. Personalet i restauranten var skuffende dårlig

We were specificly looking for a hotel on sairee beach with pool. They were quite expensive or sold out. So happy we found this gem. Nice clean rooms, we had a patio on groundlevel. Staff Very kind and helpful. We could use the pool on the day we were leaving and luggage storrage at no extra cost. They even have free shuttlebus to and from the pier. Breakfast is no luxury, but has everything we needed (toast, jam, muffins, fruits, coffee/tea, juice/water, yoghurt, some local foods and omelets made to order) This is no luxury resort, which we didn’t expect it to be at this price. It was everything we wantet. Will be back for sure. The bad reviews for this hotel are Very Old Please note that this area is Very busy, so if you are looking for a relaxing and quiet place sairee beach is not for you.

The restaurant gave us food poisoning. Aircondition didn’t work properly, even though we contacted the reception two times, where we were told they would fix it. There were no hand soap in the room. The beach and pool area was nice.

It was lovely and great location!

Stay was alright for the price. We stayed in the new building which was well maintained. Bed was rock hard and shower was awful - would go from freezing to boiling constantly without ever settling on a temperature. No hand soap provided by the sink which was weird. Not enough sunbeds by the pool but I think it’s a lot of rooms for a small pool / beach section. Breakfast included but didn’t look great - you can order off the menu for additional cost which looked a lot better. Staff were all friendly and prices of food & drink were really good. Great spot for the sunset! Overall I would stay again but I think some improvement to mattress quality would be good.

Razoável. O café da manhã tem poucas opções ocidentais. Um detalhe simples, mas que me chamou atenção é o escritório absurdamente bagunçado bem em frente a piscina. Fica dificil relaxar vendo aquela bagunça que mais parece um cartório público. Outro item desagradavel é utilizarem a mesa da entrada do restaurante para colocarem bagunças.

The hotel is poorly maintained: you can see facilities used to be nice at some point, but got shabby with time. No hot water for 2 days. Wifi is barely working: i had to hold my work meetings on the floor in the corridor. Some staff were nice and tried to help out, other were not.

Very nice place to stay and walkable to the beach

Stedet er en slidt pengemaskine.. stedet ser godt ud på billeder, men i reel life er det skidt og beskidt. Meget slidt og beskidt… det er en rodebutik og der ligger affald OVERALT… De lokale magter i opgaven i oprydning, desværre. Vi har været på øen for sidste gang.
