Epic view from the 3 bedroom pool villa, trade off was the extremely steep access - 99% of people would not be able to walk up. Would’ve been a superb resort when new, but the villa I booked was definitely behind in maintenance. I did enjoy my stay but it was heavily discounted. I would not have been happy with the condition had I paid full price.

Apartment in desperate need of maintenance/renovation. Big stains in some of the rooms. Paint falling off on the patio. Cigarette marks on patio table. Sun curtain in living room completely broken.
This is by no means a luxury accommodation.

The property is exactly like the name says THE VIEW. when booking this on Expedia it states location to beach - 10 mins walking, kata night market 10 min walk Karon beach 17 min walk. Etc. The fact is you cannot reach any of these times even driving. It’s located on a cliff that is literally a 75-80% slope. Local taxis refuse to go up it. Walking up takes 10-15 minutes. So we were forced to rent a car as there isn’t a thing close to it. We were there at 1:00 and were advised the room would be ready the day before for that time, we sat there till 4:30 to get a dirty room. No soap, no detergent etc. ( we’ve always got a small package everywhere we’ve rented). Also after we rented it through Expedia and paying for it upfront we got a message from the manager 2 days before checking in that there will be a $$$ charge for cleaning which wasn’t in the add at time of booking online. Lastly when we were checking in they also threw at us that we have to pay for electricity over and above on check out( not in description). We tried to cancel the whole reservation when we arrived with all of these inconveniences and extras but they wouldn’t refund a dollar. The pool is spectacular but only 8-10 loungers so we never used it. The view is second to none. Please know what you are in for before renting.

The hotel is nice and has beautiful views, but an important detail is not mentioned online: it is located on a very high cliff with a long, steep walk to reach it. Taxis from the street usually refuse to go up because of how steep it is.
During heavy rain, the hotel could not arrange transportation down the cliff, even when we offered to pay. This made it very difficult to eat or move around, so we cancelled our last night and changed hotels.
At the beginning, the staff were helpful, but after we raised concerns, their attitude changed. When I asked for a taxi to the airport, I was told to pay first before they even ordered the taxi, which felt rude and unprofessional.
The hotel itself is nice, but the location and lack of support, especially in bad weather, were very disappointing.

Nice condos and clean. They do charge a cleaning fee, and they charge for electricity based on the meter reading. The restaurant was convenient, but it closes at 6 pm. The office isn't always staffed when it says it is. The driveway up to the property is a very steep hill that 6 active people in their twenties dreaded walking up every single time. Overall, I would recommend as long as you know these details that we were unaware of when we booked

Overall great experience and property. The only thing is location. It’s quite high up and many grab drivers refused to go up the hill forcing you to walk up or down. Not the best experience. They do have a shuttle bus/car to drive you nearby but only till 6pm.

Epic view from the 3 bedroom pool villa, trade off was the extremely steep access - 99% of people would not be able to walk up. Would’ve been a superb resort when new, but the villa I booked was definitely behind in maintenance. I did enjoy my stay but it was heavily discounted. I would not have been happy with the condition had I paid full price.

Great view but difficult to access. Some Taxi’s were unable to drive up the hill so a difficult walk home. They have a courtesy truck but it only goes twice a day so not very convenient.a great concept but the finish is ordinary. Balcony slopes away from drain. No ceiling fan so very hot or noisy aircon. Very few occupants so pool services not reliable. You need your own transport.

Had an amazing time with my family the staff were very nice and helpfull and made us feel so welcome loved the pool which came with room perfect for kids and the view was absolutely beautiful will defo come back

As a whole our stay was good. We enjoyed using the gym facilities and felt our condo was very private and quiet. We also felt the price paid for the accommodation was good value for money.
However, I wouldn’t recommend staying at The View due to its location.
The View is located on top of a very steep hill - the gradient is almost completely vertical - making walking up and down it very dangerous. Individuals who are disabled or who have young children with prams etc. should avoid the property.
In addition, the electricity and cleaning fee were overpriced for Thailand. Online the property states it offers an airport shuttle but when we enquired about the service we were told they do not offer this. In addition, the bar/restaurant closes at 1830 which is inconvenient, especially due to the property’s location.

We did 17 nights in the middle of a six week trip. The restaurant at the pool area and the shuttle service were extremely positive additions to our stay. The staff were all courteous and friendly and The View lived up to its name.

The hill going up is steep. If you plan to walk to the beach and back, be aware you will be going up the same steep driveway as the cars. The property is good for those that like the solitude of having a home away from home at the bare minimum. Paying for the electricity is fine, but it is a bit steep in pricing. Using the agrab app for getting food delivery etc is wonderful though. Please note, while some tours do pick you up, some will not drive up the slope, as their car is unable to make it. You will need to meet them at the bottom or elsewhere.

Lejlighederne er privat ejet og så booker man dem her gennem hotels.com
Så alle lejlighederne er forskellige, forskelligt indrettet, nogen er virkelig slidte og andre er okay.
Dyr rengøring hver 3 dag.
Samt dyr el som kommer oveni prisen, løber hurtigt op.
Bemærk høj stejl bakke op til selve “the view”.
Kræver taxi eller lignende at komme op/ned, tæt på umuligt på gå-ben og især med barnevogn/bagage eller andet.

Nous avons pris 2 logements identique moi et mon cousin c’est à dire 2 familles de 4 personnes.
Mon cousin a eu son logement comme convenu spacieux moderne et propre.
Alors que moi j’ai changer 3 fois de logement en 9 jours. Je m’explique pour commencer on m’a mis dans un logement qui ne correspondait pas à ce que j’avais pris, le mec de l’accueil m xplique que c’est pour une nuit et que demain j’aurais mon logement déjà je suis pas content car je peux même pas m’installer, je précise que j’ai réserver une n octobre pour février! Le lendemain il me donne un logement degeulasse je demande à changer et avoir le meme logement que mon cousin car on a payer et pris la même chose, il m’explique que c’est full et qu’il n’y a pas de place qu’il est désoler mais qu’il a que ça.
J’écris alors à hôtels.com pour me plaindre!! Le lendemain il me fait visiter 2 logements et me demande de choisir ni l’un ni l’autre ne correspondent à ce que j’avais pris et à ce que j’avais payer.
J’ai accepter un des 2 car pas le choix.
Le logement que j’ai pris été plus propre que l’autre mais des remonter d’odeur dégoût émané des salle de bain le jacuzzi à l’extérieur trop salle pour se baigner bref trop de point négatif je vais demander un dédommagement à hôtels.com pour la gêne occasionnée.
Ha oui il mon demander de rajouter 1800€ si je voulais un logement pour mon cousin la blague alors que j’avais déjà payer et validé ce dont j’avais le droit.
Bref trop de chose à dire. Ne pas se fier au photos

Stor og fint leilighet med kjempefin havutsikt. Basseng og treningsrom i komplekset, samt en restaurant ved bassenget var fint å ha! Noen av stedene i leiligheten hadde nok trengt litt fornyelse, men helheten var bra. Hotellet ligger på en fjell, så det er len bratt bakke å gå eller kjøre opp! Vi brukte hotellets Shuttle bil så ofte som mulig, det fungerte fint.
Måtte betale for strøm ved utsjekk, som reglene sa, så vi var forberedt på det, men det var absolutt ikke billig!! Man må betale depositum med kontanter ved ankomst.
Kommunikasjon foregikk via whatsapp og fungerte fint. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening.
Alt i alt veldig fornøyd!!
