Staff were were excellent, good approach and professional

The hotel is a good place to stay as its near the strip and close to all amenities and the beach. However, the cleaners need to be retrained to clean properly. The sink was dirty, and needed a good scrub and not just a wipe down. We had to ask for soap when it was clear to see it needed replacing. Alot of people complained about the cleanliness of the place. The stairs handle should be wiped down as it was full of dust and spoilt the place. There are too many old men with young girls and underage girls there and the hotel just allows it. The resturant manager is very accomadaing and looked after us well, he is one of the good staff they have. The bar staff are lazy and rude. It would be good if the outside of the hotel was cleaned early in the morning before breakfast and not while having breakfast.

Bei der Ankunft traute ich meinen Augen nicht. Es war eine einzige Baustelle. Kein Pool. Keine Liegen Kein Essensraum. Um 6 Uhr morgens kamen die Bauarbeiter, an Schlaf nicht mehr zu. Habe dann morgens um 10 Uhr direkt ausgecheckt mit den Worten des Hotels "Sorry" So etwas habe ich noch nie gehört oder gesehen. Da kann man einfach nicht in diesem Zeitraum vermieten. Eine Rückzahlung der restlichen 2 Tage ist ebenfalls nicht erfolgt weil wohl kein Bargeld im Hause ist. Einfach nur Schrecklich.

Affordable, nice pool, poor breakfast. Room not secure. No toilet paper, poor lighting, bathroom and towels dingy, closet broken and there is absolutely no sea view. A big ugly wall blocks the view. Not as beautiful as advertised. Nice that it’s used by mostly locals. Lots of places nearby to go to eat and drink. No bottle water given.

I love this hotel. It’s very homey and comfortable. Great people and service. I’ll be staying here from now on. I’m hooked.

The service took a long time The shower needs updating

Bad customer service. AC and TV did not work. Staff came to assess but never came back. I had to go to the front desk 2 times to solve the situation which eventually required a room change. We had problems EVEN in the second room.

Postive: Outside grounds were excellent. Friendly breakfast staff. Live entertainment. Negatives: AC and TV not working well at all. 2 people came to the room on separate occasions and looked at the problem but NEVER came back. I had to go to the office at least 2 times to complain. Evening front desk staff did not have a caring attitude. Mattresses not the best. They whole staff could use a course in hospitality and customer service.

Het hotel heeft een goede locatie. Het is maar 10 minuten verwijderd van het strand en van de uitgaansbuurt in Senegambia. De kamer was in goede staat. Het enige minpunt is dat men moet betalen voor airconditioning en deze om de haverklap uitviel in mijn kamer. Andere hotelgasten hadden hier geen last van blijkbaar was er een technische defect. Het hotelpersoneel is uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Verder is het ontbijt uitgebreid en lekker. De aangeboden wifi is erg zwak of werkt helemaal niet. Ik ging vaak naar een strandbar als ik wifi nodig had. Mijn verblijf was over het algemeen zeer goed. Vooral het warm onthaal en de aangeboden hulp van het personeel is uitstekend in dit hotel.

My work in West Africa takes me to a variety of hotels, mostly of the "value" variety. Seaview Gardens is a good example and I have stayed there several times. Very friendly staff, adequate restaurant with other eating options close by, nice pool and a short walk to the beach and nightlife if that's your thing. Perhaps the thing I like best is the sense of security the place offers. There is a new section that I find rather sterile and an older section that has some style to it. As in most African hotels of this kind there are the usual small irritations with electricity, older furniture, AC that's a bit dodgy, but overall, a pleasant place. This trip the Wifi was fine, but the internet provider was experiencing problems, so what is usually reliable service was not. I expect they will get it fixed soon, but it is not really the hotel's fault. There are bigger and better hotels in the area but you will pay considerably more. This is a serviceable, friendly place and I like it.

Tje stay is okay but i spent three nights and you need to refund two nights back to my accouts

When we arrived the hotel staff seemed surprised to see us and I don't think they were expecting us, but then again I think there was a typical Gambian power cut when we got there, so their PC's weren't working. We were given room 18 which is on the top floor and a member of staff helped us with our luggage. The beds are comfy and the rooms are kept very clean and have air con (which needs regassing and so doesn't work that great - but the nights are cool anyway and air con isn't needed in March). The rooms have a safe and the price quoted in the room info are apparently last years prices and so they asked for extra money for the safe - which annoyed me slightly. When we took a shower the next day, the taps were broken and so they had to move us into room 17 (they said it would take a few hrs for a plumber to arrive). Room 17 didn't have hot water, but the cold water is warm anyway and so that didn't bother us. The swimming pool is fantastic, as long as they haven't poured a random amount of chlorine into the water, don't go in there when the water is green or cloudy!! We were told by expedia that it would be a continental breakfast. IT IS NOT!! It is a few slices of cheese, ham, banana, jam and bread rolls. Coffee, tea, milk and juices are available. You have to pay extra for bacon and sausages (don't bother - they look like burnt willys). The staff are very nice. The poolside bar is good. I met the owners brother, who at 7am was drunk and started a fight in front of me!!

wir waren zum zweiten mal im seaview hotel. wenn man nicht allzu große erwartungen hat und mit einem einfachen hotel zufrieden ist, dann ist das seaview hotel eine gute sache. das größte ärgernis war wie beim letzten mal, daß der vom veranstalter versprochene kühlschrank nicht vorhanden war.

The Seaview Gardens is a small hotel with a big heart. It's a fun and friendly place to be where all the staff are super helpful. The beach is just round the corner and the main strip a few minutes stroll. Everything you need is on your doorstep and for me this was a perfect base to wander around exploring. It's a relaxed place and I felt very at home here as a solo female traveller.

L'albergo è lontano dal mare ed ha una piscina piccolissima, la colazione è appena sufficiente, ma la mancanza maggiore è l'assenza di un ristorante adeguato, quello esistente non è molto fornito ed è poco frequentato, 2-3 coppie max. Ciò porta a cercare fuori altri ristoranti la sera, e quello che si trova non sempre è salutare. Guai seri a mangiare insalate e altri vegetali crudi.

The hotel was pleasant and clean, but the grounds and pool area is very small. The breakfast was nothing special, and slow to arrive.

Maybe you can find something cheaper and as good, but this will be a good choice.
