Kalyon Hotel Istanbul

Oda çok soğuktu söylememe rağmen düzeltilmedi. Odada çöp yok. Minibar yok. Su sadece bardak olarak var. Duşun gideri bozuk banyo komple su altında kaldı. Yedek yorgan yok. Çalışma alanı yok. İstanbulda kaldığım en kötü oteldi.

The service esa y what o expected from a hotel in that area. They only gave us two towels for the entire stay, I asked for more, because we where 3 in the room and that never gave us more. The breakfast was very limited, we ended up haunt breakfast outside.

Prima hotel, veel op loopafstand en taxi’s geen probleem.

Kahvaltı yeterli değildi. Konum dışında çok cazibesi olan bir otel değildi. Odaların restore edilme zamanı çoktan gelmiş.

Nette kamers, vriendelijk personeel, zeer ruime ontbijt

Temiz odalar, geniş otopark, çok yardımcı olan çalışanlar.

Otel çok temiz ve çok güzeldi, çalışanlar çok ilgiliydi. Otelin konumu ve manzarası harikaydı

Great hotel!!! We booked the ocean view room and it was just perfect. The installation in general it’s very elegant. The place it’s just a few minutes walking to the Hagai Sophia, the blue Mosque, restaurants and many shopping stores. You can’t go wrong choosing this hotel. It was the perfect choice for me!!

Erstes Zimmer war nicht so gut. Mir wurde aber ein anderes Zimmer gegeben wo ich sehr zufrieden war. Sauber und sehr angenehm.

Great stay at the hotel. Attentive staff, clean rooms.

Room were very nice, staff was great polite, friendly and helpful

La chambre était ok mais désuète, le plus gros irritant c’était le frigo à la chambre qui ne fonctionnait pas, nous svons demandé et ils ont dit c’est comme ca. Sinon nous avons eu un check in en arrivant très tot à l’hotel et cela a été très appréciè.

Located in a nice quiet area. The hotel rooms are a bit rundown and not very clean. Breakfast was alright.

Breakfast was okay. Staff gave the impression that requests were a nuisance, which may be a cultural thing. It was recommended that we don't drink the tap water, and most days 4 oz of water was provided and if we needed more, it was available for a fee, not high but much good will could have been earned at little cost to them if it were provided gratis. Cats! If you like cats, Istanbul is the town for you and they wandered through the restaurant, even jumping on the table if you had left to get something. Again, a cultural thing, just something you don't see anywhere else. Bed was not particularly comfortable, I would suggest replacing it. The location is excellent, walkable to the famous mosques and Topkapi palace, right on the waterfront and close to good restaurants.

The reason for the overal poor rating is due to our car having multiple door dents that resulted within the hotel parking grounds. So if you have a nice or newer car with no dents we would not recommend parking here. They need to incorporate valet parking to avoid this. Guests were careless obviously and now repairing the door dents (5 new ones) will cost more than the few days of accommodations. Aside from this disaster the hotel was clean and located in a very walkable spot. Breakfast was good and the service prompt. Beds and room were comfortable and typical of a 4 star rating.

Good accommodation. Access was improved from my last visit with a new light railway station within 100m to Sirkeci.

This property is terrible. Have so many issues with the AC. It was extremely hot. Even the outside was cold or some days. The staff also was terrible. They did nothing to help. They would sometimes hang up and would not even try to help the situation. Then the last night one of our lights in the restroom blew off in the whole room didn’t have any electricity. I definitely would not recommend this property. Staff was very unprofessional
