The Palms Turks and Caicos

Beautiful place! Staff is wonderful! Beach is fabulous! Would definitely go back. Oats and Earlie were the best!!

The Palms Turks and Caicos was everything one could want for a totally relaxed stay -- excellent food, friendly and helpful staff, lovely room, and the blue, blue, blue water! They treated us like royalty as we were there to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

The property is very beautiful and it was overall a very nice stay for us!

The beach is very beautiful and kids friendly. I just feel the customer service could be better. I booked a two bedroom oceanfront and paid good money for this trip, however I didn’t get the 5 stars service. It would be nice to start the day at the breakfast with greeting good morning and a smile but most of the staff don’t even want to work and have attitude. Once we get to the beach and I was expecting greeting and offer help with the chairs especially I have three kids, they just stood there with their phone making believe no one is there. Once we ask for help, they said did you read the sign because you have to ask for help if you needed. Overall I believe it’s the management issue that they are not getting the training needed. For anyone that has high demand and would love excellent customer service, I would not consider this place.

Nothing we did not like. The Palms was just a short walk to the Thursday Fish fry. The hospitality was very gracious and over the top. Would definitely recommend the Palms.

We loved everything about our stay! The moment we arrived we were greeted with a yummy cucumber drink and a cool towel, the people who checked us in and gave us a tour of the property were very nice and shares all there is to do and know. We had a Jr Suite (no view of water) and it was spacious, clean and bed was super comfy. The pool is gorgeous with a swim up bar during the day and the beach area is magnificent! The guys who work the beach (especially Rico and Oats) were always helpful and accommodating, along with friendly and informative. Breakfast in the garden was good and our server, Early, was a delight. She took such good care of us and we enjoyed talking with her! Parallel 23 was delicious and the setting outside (with music the night we ate there) was elegant and cozy. Our rooms were always clean and the turn down service at night was really nice! The grounds are well taken care of and beautiful to look at! We loved it all and we will be back!

Spectacular in Every Way!

Here is a deep dive on the resort and Grace Bay. Let’s start with why you’d come. Perfect turquoise water on a pristine beach. As though some opened a faucet on white sand. The resort itself is gorgeous and filled with mature palm trees surrounding a great pool. The service can be hit or miss though. Paula, Wesley, Neville and Ronel are amazing. But many of the bar staff were not up to the job for the prices you’re paying. We waited 30 minutes at a nearly empty swim up bar to get a drink and close a tab. After two other attempts, we literally stopped using that bar because the service was so bad. Not island time slow, actually ignored. The restaurant service and food was fantastic. Our breakfast staff treated us like family. And our housekeeping was stellar. As for the accommodations… We booked two junior suites for the 4 of us. One of our suites had a shared entry with another room and second secure door. The resort booked a hospitality suite for a conference in that other room. Meaning the second secure door was propped open and there was tons of foot traffic outside our room. This was just poor planning. They should have given our room to someone at the conference. Instead, our serene vacation felt like a business trip. They have a happy hour every night. They should either cancel it or simplify it. It’s allegedly half price for “1 step drinks” like a rum and coke. So we ordered tequila soda. Not included. I ordered a beer, it was full price. Later it was corrected

A beautiful place!!

Relaxing

The property was beautiful and the pool area was wonderful. The beach was inviting and always had plenty of chairs. The staff bent over backwards for us, always ready to put towels on our chairs and offer us food and drink. It was such a relaxing and wonderful vacation.

Jane, Emilienne, Mark, Roodelyne, Ellisona and all the staff were fantastic. So helpful and did everything with a big smile. They all felt like family by the end of our stay. Both restaurants were delicious. The clothing shop had all my favorite brands. The convenient store was perfect for snacks and sunscreen refills. The property is gorgeous. Pool area is fantastic. Beaches can’t be beat. I give it a 10/10. We will definitely be back to the Palm TC. We didn’t want to leave!

Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. It was not over crowded and didn't have any issues with securing beach chairs and umbrellas or a spot at the pool. The grounds were well manicured and once you walked into the resort it was very peaceful and quiet. Beach is gorgeous!

You never have to leave property

This should not be considered a 5 star hotel. Our experience here was absolutely not worth the money we spent. The service was not 5 star service! I've received better service from a holiday inn. Our room was very nice and clean. The beach access was great. The pool is okay. There was pee all over the pool bathroom floor, which unfortunately ended up on my clothes so I was soiled in someone else's urine. They did not comp my dry cleaning. The fire alarm went off and I had to evacuate my room. No one was in a rush to fix it or apologize for the inconvenience. I stood outside for over 20 minutes with other guests, while I needed to be inside getting ready for a wedding. I asked for an early check in, they wouldn't accommodate. Even after I had someone else's pee on my clothes. They sent up a fruit plate but it wasn't enough. No one was happy to greet or take care of us. I ordered a frozen drink by the pool and they just let it sit there and handed it to me melted... I tried to order room service at 10:30, they closed at 11pm and told me the Chef had already left. There are no other food options near by. Nothing is walkable. We will not be going back. We had some bad luck, I'm sure it wasn't terrible for everyone but overall it was a bad experience. They had plenty of opportunity to make it better but fell short each time.
