Gorgeous location but pretty ramshackle accommodations. We had ground floor room. People above us were incredibly loud until 1am. Building is mid-century, and appears to have had no renovations ever. Also, someone was blaring music outside our room at 8am and smoking cigarettes so we couldn’t enjoy the sound of the waves. Walked into restaurant to book reservation and before we could open our mouths, elderly waitress/manager (?) yelled from back room, “No walk-ins!” Guess she didn’t think we looked like guests. Breakfast buffet was dismal!!! Jar of peanut butter and wilted fruit with grocery store pastries and overcooked hard boiled eggs. Rotting vases of stinky flower water with dead roses on table. Spiders in our room. Torn, pilling bedsheets. Very uncomfortable bed. No air conditioning. But, again, location is beautiful and the pool looked awesome. Still, kinda creepy vibe.

Spectacular iocation on the ocean... we thought the traffic might be loud, so close to the Highway, but it was not because of the glorious sound of the ocean

Even though the view out the front is fabulous, it doesn't compare to the noise that bombards you from highway 101 thirty yards from the back of the hotel. With four adults and two rooms, some have to tolerate the road noise and lights making it hard to sleep. The building is also, literally leaning toward the ocean and is extremely out dated.

Great stay!

Excellent hotel!! Room was very clean and views are spectacular. Parking can be challenging due to limited spaces. Bathroom door was hard to close and didn’t lock. I would stay again in a heartbeat!!

Beauriful views! Very comfortable room and beds. Dinner at the restaurant on site was delicious! We will definitely be back.

Property was dirty and very out dated

What a beautiful place to stay right on the waterfront. The food at the restaurant was amazing. Highly recommended for a quiet stay and great food. Thanks!!

Absolutely loved our stay. Stay as many days as possible. We stayed two nights and wished for more. Lounged by the pool literally all day, took our own drinks and cooler and snacks. The views are breathtaking. Slept like a baby with the windows open listening to the waves crashing. All rooms have a view of the ocean. Beach is not accessible but you have the pool. Watched dolphins and sea lions. Seagulls were a hoot, don’t leave your plate unattended LOL, they will steal your food. Breakfast is continental, only protein are boiled eggs. Lunch menu is typical American and fair price. Dinner is a little pricey. Brunch Sat and Sun. Monday restaurant is closed. Rooms do not have a/c but you don’t need it. Rooms have fridge and TV. Really enjoyed our stay!

Everything went well

I stayed at this property a few years ago and it was very enjoyable. This time around, the property looks run down, the rooms don’t have AC so it was stuffy. The carpet at the restaurant smells. The continental breakfast had frozen fruit and yogurt. The view is amazing but the property needs some TLC.

WAS TOO HOT!!!… No AC and property needs to be updated… Bathroom walls needs to be properly repaired, Shower Rods were old and rusty, TV kept flipping to another Channel!!… the Dinner at night was awesome !!… Brunch was tasteless thrown on the Plates

Cliff house has an amazing view and a wonderful salt water pool. The room was good and spacious but the shower temperature would rapidly fluctuate between hot and cold. Parking can also be a bit of a problem especially when the attached restaurant is doing dinner service.

The rooms are getting a little tired, they could use some upgrading. It was not as clean as I like, cobwebs under furniture, toilet wobbled when you sat down on it. The view was exceptional as well as the pool area. The dining tables were a little close to the pool for my comfort but others did not seem to mind

Food at the restaurant is great. Room looked over the surf and impressive pool. I’ve eaten at the restaurant before and came back to stay in the hotel.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. Me and my husband enjoyed the stunning view especially being right on the ocean. This will now be on our list of places to stay and visit every summer. All the staff were very friendly and kind. They did their best to accommodate us. Thank you for having us and see you again soon’
