Days Inn by Wyndham Fort Worth North / Fossil Creek

Good

After being at the hotel for about 6 hours and waking up that morning,I woke up very sick!! Naseau vomiting running high fever for two days straight! Could barely move or even think straight. I asked the hotel to please excuse my condition not rush me at checkout,after they did anyways we decided to go ahead and stay just because I was too ill to move at the moment.

The room was on the second floor. We wanted a first floor. It was clean and quiet. The walls need to be painted and it looked like they had a roof leak above window

The breakfast was muffins, bread, and cereal…misleading from the website. The door lock would not fully engage which made me feel unsafe. I asked them to look into it and they didn’t.

Nice property, only issue was the odor in my room. Deodorizer wouldn’t hurt.

The room was falling apart, base board coming off the wall, ceiling had cracks in it. The room was not cleaned properly, black hair on the floor and used wash cloths still in the bath tub/shower.

It was in a good location, clean. I didn’t like the fact that there was no plug for the bathtub but made do with what I could use

Did not stay at days in fossil Creek. After I brought in my husband's id, rude front desk's first question was if I had pet.when I answered yes, a service dog she said she would not give us a room because I did not bring in dog. I explained I had left her in car with husband and I would bring her in along with her certification papers. She refused. She seemed confused saying I should have said yes when I first came in to ck in/ register, but I told her this was my first time to ck in/register because I had booked on line. It was a total fiasco. We ended up staying at the competitor next door. I was highly upset with days inn, not hotels.com.

I dont usually complain but this stay should have been better. I was on a work trip and arrived at 7pm and no one was at the front desk. I rang rhe bell for about 10 minutes, walked around the lobby area looking for an employee and then started to call the cell number for the manager listed on a business card. Then i saw the employee walking in the far back door from the parking lot. She checked me in without a smile and was noticiably aggravated. I received my card and went to my room. The elevator electrical panel under the buttons was damaged and wires were exposed. Not a good thing at the height children are and could reach in there. Then i arrived in my room and 2 tiles in the center of the room were cracked and crushed like something very heavy was driven across them. Finally, the next morning when i was leaving i went to the breakfast area. It was very clean and no breakfast. The doors where the food was kept were locked. The hotel was very clean but it appeared at the expense of services and proper maintenance.

I have to say the only good thing about our stay at Days Inn, was the check in attendant that early afternoon. The door to our room looked like someone had previously kicked it in at one point. The chair that you could sit on aside from the desk/table chair, SMELLED HORRIBLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I took a shower, both body towels had the same SMELL as the chair and I had no choice but to use it to dry myself off. IT WAS HORRIBLE. When we came back to the hotel from our event at 11 pm, the parking lot was full of people hanging out in the back of there vehicles drinking. We did not feel SAFE but couldn’t do anything about it, we didn’t have the money to try to get another room at a different hotel, so we stayed. I feel the cleaning staff need to thoroughly clean every piece of furniture someone could sit or lay on and to make sure to smell all the sheets, blankets, pillow cases and towels that paying customers will be using before leaving the room.
