Pool no clean

Room not newly renovated. Needed updates. Furniture old. Carpet torn in places. Hallway outside rooms dirty old carpeting poorly lite during evening. Maid not close door all way after serviced room and door left ajar. Very unsafe. Breakfast bland and subpar. Not enough seating for all people serving. Staff unfriendly during check out.

Shower was broken and leaking, towel had hairs still on it, bed sheets were stained and damp.

Bathroom was small and beds were oriented where the ac would blow on your face when sleeping. The parking waa good and the free breakfast was good.

Check in was quick and easy. We managed to get lucky and find parking in the garage attached to our building. Stayed in the suites building 7th floor. 3 nights. Room was clean. Housekeeping (Sandra) came everyday and took our trash, brought towels and toilet paper. The construction noise never bothered us, but it did obstruct our Oceanview, but I did know at the time of booking that it was there. My son (and my husband lol) actually found it to be interesting to watch. Breakfast was ok, the staff in the rose room was wonderful. My kids enjoyed all the different pools. When construction is done I would stay again.

This was our first time visiting Myrtle Beach, Check in and check out was quick and smooth. The property is old and in need of renovations. It is split into different buildings, one of which is on the other side of the pier which is under reconstruction. Had to walk out on the street to move among the buildings and access the pools due to the reconstruction work on the pier. The kids pool and indoor pool was very dirty and not usable. The outdoor lazy river and other outdoor pools were nice and we enjoyed those. Stayed in a King suite which was great except bathroom and kitchen floors very slippery. The included breakfast was nice. There aren't many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. A DJ played fun music at the outdoor pool on Saturday and had a hula hoop contest and limbo contest for the kids which was fun. All in all we enjoyed our stay but next time will look for a different hotel closer to restaurants and a bit more modern.

Overall, an excellent hotel. Definitely in need of some renovation of rooms (stayed in a suite). Carpet was in rough condition, but the room was amazing otherwise. Included breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Property description on Expedia was not accurate. Our room wasn’t ready until 4:20 PM for a 4pm check in. When checking in we weren’t given explanations for towel policies, breakfast hours, or even a map of the facility. The snack bar was closed on several days because of weather, and did not reopen once the rain stopped. Bathrooms were dirty, having stains on the floors and shower that looked like vomit. Staff spoke appropriately but were clearly overwhelmed. Expedia did not advertise construction that was occurring on the beach, which resulted in beach closure in certain sections. Pool towels were left in our room at check out and we were threatened to be charged if we didn’t bring them down (we were never told of the actual towel policy). Would not recommend this location to travelers.

Nothing was as advertised, and this is not a resort. The rooms stunk. “Housekeeping” did not clean rooms daily. The most they did was give you more towels (did not take dirty towels) and take trash out. The breakfast was poor quality and was two blocks from our building. Parking was a nightmare every time we came back to the building. It was so limited that we had to park in the back garage, crossing two streets to get to our building. For the cost of our room, it was not worth it. The hotel is close to everything if you’re wanting touristy things to do. There is no other convenience this hotels provides you that others on the strip aren’t also offering. I will not stay here again nor would I ever recommend this hotel.

Room had fingerprint stains on the bathroom door. Housekeeping only came in to put towels on the counter. The rooms and facilities look and feel outdated.

Short stay for us but definitely coming back for longer! Very clean room, the bathtub practically sparkled. Comfortable beds & everything you need in the little kitchen area. So many pool options & of course the beautiful beach! The free breakfast was busy but that is understandable due to what they serve…eggs, fruit, hashbrowns, sausages, grits….it wasn’t just your usual cold cereal and muffins spread. Very hearty & the staff was friendly. The area is pretty quiet & there are walkable restaurants near by.

Dayton house saved our vacation after having to transfer from another hotel that was just filthy and we were unable to stay there after one day . We had a great time, great location and service by all. Thank you!!!

Loved everything about this hotel , being closely located to the beach and also having an option to sit under an umbrella in the grass or pool side gave us many options daily . The young man that worked the pool bar was great with a wonderful personality , restaurants are in walking distance along with shopping , would recommend

We booked this hotel for a quick getaway to Myrtle Beach and had a great time overall! The location is excellent — especially if you don’t mind walking. The boardwalk, restaurants, and nightlife are all within a 10–20 minute walk, which made exploring super easy. Our room was clean and delightfully chilly when we arrived (shoutout to the AC, which worked like a dream). The beds were comfy, though an extra blanket wouldn’t hurt — that AC does not mess around. We slept great every night! The bathroom, however, could use some love. While it was visibly clean, there was rust on several fixtures, and it had a bit of a “grungy” vibe. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely in need of an update. Also — and this one made us laugh — the towels are so thin they might qualify as napkins. We’d recommend bringing your own unless you enjoy air-drying by default. On the bright side, we loved our balcony and spent several evenings playing cards out there — big win. The pool area was also a highlight. The pools looked clean and were well maintained, and the tiki bar was a lot of fun… until it closed for rain, leaving us wandering the streets in search of another margarita. A minor inconvenience, but still a little sad. The hotel overall is pretty dated. A refresh in paint, furniture, and, yes, the towel department, would make a huge difference. That said, the surrounding food options were fantastic — breakfast lovers will appreciate the abundance of pancake houses. We had great experiences !

Lots of pools, tiki bar, and access to the beach. Breakfast was an amazing selection. Only con was room was not ready by 4 pm and we had to wait. Room when we did have it was clean and had cable, a full kitchen (full fridge and freezer, stove, oven, etc. ) with cooking supplies and coffee. For the price, this stay was amazing. Amenities are accessible pre and post check out which is nice. They also have beach towels available to be checked out. Within walking distance of boardwalk. Overall, would return.

Overall it’s a good price for a beachfront room. However the parking is terrible. You will have to walk a block to park your car because the parking fills up so quickly. Also the area to unload your car is very tight.

The beds were the most comfortable than any other resort that Ive stayed. I'm normally ready to go home to my bed but I could of stayed longer. The hot tubs are outside and depending on which building you're in the walk to breakfast could be a bit far I'm disabled so that's why I say that but if your healthy no problem. It was clean. I stayed in the suites building everything worked. Any staff that I came in contact with were always kind and helpful. It was about 10 blocks from the boardwalk. So you could be in the mix if you wanted or not. I think it's enough to keep the kids busy and also relax yourself. It was some construction going on but I was on the 11th floor right next to the workers but still it didn't take away from our time it wasn't to noisy. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to a friend and the breakfast was better than I thought it would be a full buffet that they serve so no one is playing in the food and waffles fruit regular sausage and turkey,ham. French toast sticks. I had to have 2 suites because I had 9 ppl in my group but it was two queen beds and a roll out close to beach and a great view of the ocean if you got ocean view I will say that the elevator wasn't air condition so it was a little hot and the hot tub could of been hotter. But hey go have fun.
