The bathtub was not draining and as a result I had to take a shower with the water backed up in the tub.

Friendly, clean, spacious, and perfectly located for our weekend plans. However, one of the two elevators was out of service the whole time we were there, and that made the wait around checkout time ridiculous. We were able to get parking in the garage every time we needed it, but we took the last spot a couple times so having a back up plan might not be a bad idea!

Left some clothing in the room.I contacted the hotel & someone went up to the room & found the clothing & left it in a bag at the front desk.Very appreciative.

Check in took half an hour. Issues with the second night

Servce during breakfast was not good. Food was good but food order was incorrect and was took too long to get served. Restaurant understaffed and unorganized. One elevator out of order was a huge inconvenience. Walked up 7 flights of stairs to get to my room after waiting 15 minutes for elevator. Needed to get to graduation so time was of the essence. Bed too soft which resulted in back discomfort.

First room was handicapped and smelled…we got a difference room on the 10th floor but had one working elevator which made coming and going impossible. while exiting the garage the gate work only occasionally. The bar was a joke. In my room the grab bar in the shower was not secured at the bottom and the button to activate the shower fell out everytime you turned off the shower. Staff was accommodating and polite…not thei fault but the hotel in general was out dated and in disrepair

No heating b/c hotel in “summer mode” now so only AC.

Lukewarm shower, only one elevator working restaurant service was nonexistent

I spent two nights here with my sister for some Poughkeepsie adventures and it was the perfect home base! Our room was really well appointed and we utilized the fridge and desk to our full advantage. We had leftover meals in the room and produced art at the desk together! I loved our interactions with other guests and specifically Brittany at the front desk. Watch out for the left side dryer as it ate our quarters but we had them returned at the front desk when we told them what happened. I would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed for a show and wanted to have dinner before. Walked around the neighborhood and everything was closed, Saturday afternoon at 5pm. Went back to the hotel and went to the restaurant. The bar/restaurant was crowded, there was a wedding party there and others attempting to dine. Unfortunately, there was only a bartender working. She was working hard, but definitely was not enough for the crowd. Several people complained and they finally brought out the security officer to deliver the food. Still very slow. The room was neat but cold. Adjusted the thermostat with no result. put pillows over the a/c and the room warmed up a bit. The hotel is nice and convenient but the little things made the visit unpleasant. Unfortunately, it's the only game in the neighborhod.

Stayed here for a conference. The room was clean and comfortable. The conference facilities were nice, and it was convenient not having to go far.

The stay was great except they had one elevator with 3 events happening. There was 2 wedding and a dance competition. We had to wait over 30 minutes to 45 minutes to get downstairs. It was ridiculous

Great for conventions and easy access to train station.

Our a.c. did not work, called front desk & was told someone would come up to check it out, no one did so slept in a stuffy room all night. The toilet also made a loud, horrific sound when flushed.

The Doubletree is an excellent option for anyone interested in staying in downtown Poughkeepsie. I have stayed there on three different occasions in the last three months, each time for several days,and have always had a good experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the parking is free, access is convenient, there are great restaurants within a short walk, and it is only a short walk to the Poughkeepsie Bridge State Park, which is spectacular. Many rooms have a beautiful view over town to the Hudson River. For these reasons and more, I am looking forward to my next visit.

The check in was not well managed by hotel staff. There was a line of 7 parties in front of us and only one staff person. A second staff member finally arrived and then things sped up. Of the two elevators in the lobby, only one was working and there was another line. The individual staff were friendly and helpful.

Only one working elevator at the time was annoying, and the AC in the rooms is rather limited. It was quite uncomfortable with poor AC. Facility, food and bar was nice.

Great hotel! Close to a few good restaurants and nice amenities

Hospitality from front desk staff was unsurpassed. Room clean & comfortable.
