Friendly staff, nice room, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed.

We stayed 2 nights. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, giving us extra coffee for our room. Our room was clean, quiet and well equipped with microwave, mini fridge and coffee pot. The King bed was clean and comfortable. All linens are white and laundered. We did not have a chance to use the pool, but we took advantage of the breakfast spread which had a wide variety of hot and cold options. We were 15 minutes from charming downtown Lakeland where there are plenty of restaurants.

I reserved two rooms through Hotels.com, but upon arrival at the hotel, I was told there was only one reservation. I showed the desk clerk my confirmation for two rooms, but she was dismissive and unhelpful, refusing to contact Hotels.com to verify the issue. I had to pay for an additional room out of pocket and was later charged for three rooms total, even though we only used two. After investigating the situation, I learned that both rooms were indeed reserved under my name, but one was listed under my father-in-law’s name as the occupant—standard procedure when booking multiple rooms. These should have been linked under the same folio in the hotel’s system, but the front desk staff showed no willingness to assist or resolve the confusion. When Hotels.com reached out to the hotel to request a refund, the hotel refused. To make matters worse, during checkout, I witnessed the same front desk clerk offering equally poor service to another guest who had concerns about bed bugs. Overall, the lack of professionalism and customer service was extremely disappointing. I would appreciate a refund for the unused room and hope the hotel takes steps to improve staff training and communication.

Fairfield Inn in Lakeland continues my experience of a high-quality stay. The staff is friendly, the breakfast offerings are varied and plentiful, there is a guest laundry on site with laundry soap available for purchase. I also appreciated that this facility did *not* have a per-day parking charge.

I recently stayed at the Marriott Lakeland Plant City for a business trip and had a good overall experience. The location was very convenient, with a Dunkin' right next door and easy access to nearby areas, which made my mornings and travel much easier. I appreciated the noon checkout time, allowing for a more relaxed departure, and the pool area was a nice bonus for unwinding after work. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, contributing to a positive first impression. While the stay didn’t necessarily exceed expectations, it was comfortable and reliable, and I would recommend this hotel to others looking for a solid, hassle-free option for business travel.

Great location and easy access to main roads. Dining within walking distance.

Good Location

The only problem we found was there was no vanity in the bathroom to set our toiletries on. Just a small table would have been nice. There was plenty of room in the bathroom. we stayed in room 131
