We were really happy staying here, it’s in a great location and the man working the front desk was very nice when we were there. The room was really clean in my opinion compared to other cheaper motels I have stayed at in the past, there’s old carpet in the rooms but other than that we had no complaints at all, I also felt safe staying here and there didn’t seem to be weird people lurking around which is also a plus. Would recommend to stay here if you are wanting to stay on a budget!

Inexpensive but the shower was messed up and barely worked, traffic noise early, coffee pot but no coffee

I liked the room a lot.

When we arrived we were hounded about not being on site by 9:00 PM, as we drove from Idaho, that was a tall task. He said they almost cancelled our reservation. They charged our credit card. He gave us a key, we went to that room, opened the door and there was a man wrapped in a towel standing there, confused as we were. We promptly apologized and left, back to the office, the night manager complained about his staff and tried another room only to have cleaning issues. Just not a fun experience.

This has to be one of the worse motels I’ve been in a very long time. From the check-in, (papers with everyone’s names on them along with what we paid were all on display on the counter) and the room itself should be gutted and rebuilt. The room was so outdated, shower leaked all over the floor, toilet seat hasn’t been replaced in decades and the carpet was worn and in some places, missing. Can not stress enough how poor this location is.

Rude and cold water

Was charged almost $200 for a 1 night stay. The carpet was wet, spongy, and the room stank so bad we had to keep the loud bathroom fan on and window open. We knew it wasn't going to be a Hilton, but a BYOB, bring your own blanket? Nasty. Had there been a different option, we would have left. Heater was stuck on- room was like a microwave. The toilet had urine sprinkles on the seat. Shower rusty, could barely turn the handles. Linoleum peeling away from the floor. Spider webs, and a wasp hanging out in the room. Some lights not working. The beds were so spring loaded that if your partner had to blink their eyes, you felt it. Sleeping? Forget about it. I thought Expedia actually monitored their offerings, so at $200, we expected some level of comfort. We were wrong. The entire place needs to be renovated- the amount of deferred maintenance was unreal. $64/night would have been fair. $200? Just a gouge. Expedia and Four Winds were huge let downs. There has got to be better options.

Definitely won't be staying at this place again. The view was great. Definitely was not worth what we paid to stay there. The smell was horrible in the room, doors didnt open and close properly to the bathroom, vent in bathroom didn't work.Place definitely needs to be revamped. We definitely would rather stay in a motel 6.

Good location but rooms were smelly and dirty.

Worst place ive ever stayed at. Blood on the walls hair in the beds. Damp floor and beds. Just all around nasty. Ill never stay at that place again. Ill sleep on the beach in a sleeping bag.

Good value

When the internet worked it was good, the fan in the bathrrom was dirty but the rest of the room was fine. There is no air conditioning so take a fan. It was a good place to just sleep and inexpensive. There was direct tv which made it better and there is a mini fridge and microwave. You really do get what you pay for...

We've started at Four Winds before and it was mostly out of convenience. Not the Greatest place to stay, but we enjoyed ourselves.

The manager hollered across the parking lot that we were supposed to be checked out. We went to office to prove that we were booked for 2 nights. We had our two small dogs with us. They barked when someone came in and he told us to get them out of the lobby cause they were aggressive. When we refused because we paid 100.00 pet fee he kicked us out of our room. Then when he asked for my id I didn’t have it and refused to go get it, he kicked us out again. He blamed his boss saying he doesn’t know how to do his job. He called his boss and found out that we were paid up and we ended up staying.

Our first night we were rushed and put in a room with backage coming up through the bathtub. There was also dirty sherts on the bed as you could see someone had spilt something down the corner and could tell it wasnt just a stain because it ran all they way down the sheet the sheet on the box spring and the bed skirt. The coffee had a used pod in it and no screen in the window. We werent given a chance to move rooms or even get new sheets or help with the tub as the manager clocks off and takes off to newport right after we checked in for the rest of the night. The parking is absolutely awful on the backside, people paralell parking right infront of your door and talking super loud outisde your window. Manager included knocking on the housekeepers door super early(she lives there), and talking really loud outside of customers windows. I had no other choice but to stay anoyher 4 bights because their refund policy and being a bigger easte of my money. VERY wrong, VERY unprofessional and a disgusting run down hotel. No housekeeping unless you request and even then i had to track them diwn for a rool of tp. Do not recommend bot worth the price at all, even for a cheap motel. I am also a manager of reservations and understand the hardships and ups and downs of it but this was unacceptable.

Has never been maintained. Lot of mold in the window, ripped screen and lock in window. Carpet was very dirty and stained. Strong smell of urine and air freshener. No light in the living room. Bathroom sink drained very slowly and toilet didn't flush well. Had to walk uphill to motel.

It was a good view and a nice place to relax. The curbs were difficult to get up and down.

Staff were great, with what we needed. They were very helpful and accommodating.

Comfortable bed. Dirty coffee maker. Broken towel rack. Dirty water from sink. Broken tile in bathroom. Noisy parking lot. Banging on walls middle of the night
