Beautiful Property. Excellent amenities. Only change recommended is larger refrigerator in one bedroom suites.

We recently stayed at Hammock Beach Resort and it was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, the grounds were pristine, and the atmosphere was pure relaxation mixed with family fun. The beach was stunning—clean, peaceful, and just steps from the resort. We spent our mornings enjoying the waves, building sand castles, collecting sea shells, and our afternoons floating through the amazing lazy river and soaking up the sun by the pool. The water slide was a big hit with our little one, and honestly, we loved it too! The variety of pools was great and the resort had just the right balance of luxury and family-friendliness. Our room was spacious, clean, and had beautiful views. We also loved how close it was to historic St. Augustine—a quick, scenic drive down A1A made it easy to explore, dine, and take in a bit of culture and history. Hammock Beach Resort gave us everything we hoped for: beachside bliss, family fun, and a great home base for adventure. We can’t wait to come back!

Its hard to imagine a better vacation than this. Everything we needed was right there. The rental was beautiful, tastefully decorated and fully stocked for a family vacation. We did not have bedding for the living room, and made a call to housekeeping and it was brought within an hour of the call. The grounds are well manicured. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. Publix right around the corner. Very minor maintenance issues, a running toilet and slow draining in one bathroom, but no complaints it was a very relaxing time. Our family trip included teenagers, everyone left refreshed.

Resort is nice, lazy river was slow, reservation desk was rude, and appeared not to want to be there

Awesome resort steps from the beach. The main pool got a bit crowded with the families with small kiddos but the beach more than made up for that.

Large king bed and pullout sofa, plenty of chairs and a balcony to boot. The pool bar burgers were awesome and so was the gourmet pizza.

The place is huge. Plenty of paring close to your room. Very quiet.

This is a fabulous location with beautiful scenery all around. We go to enjoy the pools and restaurants and even got in a day of Golf at the Conservatory. The staff and amenities are top shelf. We had rain a couple of times during our stay and during that inclement weather the amenities were very slim. I would love to see them add a little more options for those days with bad weather. I do love this place and will come back.

Cleaners should be automatic every day

The resort was beautiful outside and well maintained. The staff was excellent. They were professional, helpful, polite and pleasant and at all times. The disappointing part was the room. It is in dire need of an upgrade. When you step into the room, it feels like you’re going back in time however it was very clean which made up for it. We had a pleasant stay otherwise and the food was great.

We were given an upgrade to a fabulous 4-bedroom condo. The place was lovely and the pools and spa are great.

Great atmosphere

Amazing team. Woody made it extra special for the family. Great host and his team was spectacular.

We absolutely love staying here. There is so much to do for everyone. It feels like you are on an island somewhere. The property is so beautiful. Restaurants are great and staff is friendly.

Booked 10 months in advance and requested ocean front room. Got a room facing a street. Resort would not change my room to one I booked. Kitchen sink leaked our first night. Absolute bare minimum in condo. No cleaning supplies, paper towels or toilet paper or decent dishes. Very disappointed. Will be be returning. Loyal customer here, 6th visit. Resort should have given us the room we booked 10 months in advance. This is how they treat returning guests. Reason we won’t be returning.

Beautiful Property with Great dining options beautiful clean rooms with gorgeous view and friendly staff!

We liked the pools. It had a lazy river and 1 water slide for everyone. They had an adult pool and 2 kids pools. The hotel is on the beach. The beach had shells, which was nice too. Beach was clean, no seaweed.

I’m sure this was a nice resort at one time, but it’s in rough shape. The zero entry pool is nice and the poolside servers were great, and the gelato place was good. That’s about all I can say. Negatives are numerous and as follows: -At check in, there was a DJ in the main lobby blaring music so loud I couldn’t hear the check in attendant. -We were told luggage carts were only for use by valet staff. We were not even permitted to unload in front of the hotel. This was particularly tough on my elderly parents. -3% credit card fee is a joke and completely outside the norm for a resort -We drove around every night trying to find a parking space because golf carts were taking up spaces. -at check out, they could not provide an itemized printed bill because of an “audit.” They were supposed to email one but we’ve yet to see it. -The putting course is in horrible shape. Much of the turf is worn away. -Hallways were pretty beat up and in need of a paint job. -The second floor is atrium has signs all around forbidding guests from sitting in the chairs. Signs indicated the area was only for owners, but we never saw a single person sitting there. -Being on the second floor, our ocean view room was really more of a pool view. We could see a tiny sliver of ocean. Bottom line, this place was probably amazing in its heyday, but it’s not been maintained and feels like the owners are just milking it now.

Everything was fantastic only upgrade are unit needs is tall toilet. And pots and pans would be nice. You need to call the front desk for them. Other then that it is a lot like a Mexican resort
