Wyndham San Antonio River Walk

This is the most wonderful stay I have ever experienced. Extremely great service and exceptional quality.

Beautiful hotel, but lacking in a few areas. There are no true river view rooms, and you are charged an upgrade fee for that. The rooftop bar is not truly rooftop as it is on the 3rd floor, and also it’s not open during the day while you might be at the pool. The rooms get hot at night because the AC turns off when you’re not moving around the room.

The hotel is very luxurious and the food and drinks are amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and bed is super comfy. This is a must stay when you visit San Antonio TX

One of the best Intercontinental hotels in Texas.

The hotel and amenities are great. I really loved the gym, it was big with plenty of equipment. The pool was also a great addition. The room was nice and modern and the beds were super comfortable. There were a few crumbs under the bed when we checked in so maybe housekeeping accidentally missed it & didn’t bend down to check. The only cons would be the bell hop service needs some work. We needed help with our luggage checking out but there was a shortage in service & they were very backed up, we didn’t want to be late checking out so we had to make multiple trips to bring our luggage down. Lastly, the shower drained slowly so it made the water back up slightly.

We stay here every time we are in San Antonio. We have stayed other places in the past, and this is the best by far. Only place to go!

Everything was wonderful. The bed was so comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was amazing.

We wished we got to stay longer! The hotel staff was so helpful, friendly & amazing! We loved how clean the entire hotel was and luxurious in their details. We weren’t sure if we would be close enough to the Riverwalk, but it was definitely the perfect choice to get a couple minutes of walking to enjoy the beauty of the Riverwalk without being in the loudness of the crowds & restaurants. We absolutely had the best sleep in their beds and linens. And the hotel restaurants were such a bonus-enjoyed a lovely dinner at their Cavalier restaurant! I would definitely recommend and come back next time!!

Beautiful property in great location! We were able to walk to everything we wanted to visit and also utilized the less than 2-mile complimentary vehicle drop-off. Staff were very hospitable and helpful. Great coffee shop! Clean, comfy, and contemporary rooms! I hope to be able to return and stay again with my family! Fantastic visit!

I recently stayed two nights at the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk and while the hotel has a nice downtown location and friendly staff, my overall experience left me disappointed — especially given the price. I was told over the phone there would be no fee for early check-in if a room was available, but upon arrival, I was charged a $100 early check-in fee, plus a $29 daily resort fee, and a $300 incidental hold (refundable). That’s on top of the ~$694 I already paid for the room — none of which was communicated clearly upfront. Valet service is $64 per day, and while they’ll drop you off somewhere, they won’t pick you up, which is not what I expect from a “luxury” hotel. Every other luxury hotel I’ve stayed at in San Antonio offers complimentary valet vans for pickup and drop-off. The in-room amenities were extremely overpriced — $12 for a water bottle, $18 for a can of almonds, and $25 for laundry (even though you only get a $20 credit if you upgrade). It felt like every little thing had an extra cost attached. The pool, located on the third floor, was small and basic — not what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. The on-site restaurant had decent food, but the menu was very limited and everything was overpriced. Again, I have to give credit to the staff — they were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. But overall, this hotel does not live up to the luxury label and feels more focused on squeezing extra money out of guests than providing an upscale experience

Newly remodeled, clean, quiet hotel with easy parking and not crowded. Nice comfy rooms.

Excellent hotel and great location ! Staff was very friendly and the Coffee shop, break fast and the bar was great. Valet parking service is very convenient and the hotel location is super nice.
