In most instances you get what you pay for.
Unfortunately, that was not the case.
Upon checking out, we informed management about roach infestation. The response was an "oh well" , "not surprised" facial expression.
We then informed them about a hole in the lower wall between the bedroom and bathroom. The hole being the size of a fist and appeared active as there was plaster debris on the floor in the area.
This problem management made note of.
Both issues were not discovered by us until morning. Would have requested a different room.
Much more attention needs to be paid to the conditions

Found a roach in the room. Shower was old and rusted.

Visit was terrible roaches everywhere after 6 hrs had to go some where else to stay spent 85 dollars for nothing. Couldn’t even stay the night it was so nasty. And the lady up front brushed it off like it was nothing, completely in compassionate

cockroaches. many. in the bathroom primarily. they ranged from tiny ant-sized to the size of an almond. not "palmetto bugs", but roaches. I chose this one as the middle-range option for the area. though $100 apparently does not get you roach-free living in lumberton. hotels.com should remove this listing from the website.

Friendly staff. Rooms kind of run down, Needs a major upgrade.The "pet wing" has a bit of an odor problem, but the rooms don't smell too bad. Just a one night stop over for us, so we'll deal with it. Also, quite convenient to I-95.

Average we had to clean it up ourselves and barely checked on us. Asked for trash bags and they didn't have any said I had to wait until house keeping came in and that's from the manager

We are one night travellers and therefore are only onsite for 6-8 hours overnight. We always stay at a Red Roof when to or from Florida. However, tjis stay was disgusting. Our sheets were dirty (had to pull hair and foot dirt from the bed. There we tiny bugs everywhere (walls, bathroom, floor), we killed two cockroaches. So tou can imagine that we didn’t sleep much because we kept checking for bed bugs. Thankfully we didn’t see any unless that's what the tiny bugs were. None of the surfaces were cleaned, there were hand prints and sticky stuff on night stands and small desk. Never ever again! We didn’t even have free breakfast there because we just wanted to get out as fast as possible.
