We loved our stay at the dog-friendly cabins. The view of the water out the front window of the cabin and the chairs on the front porch made the stay worth it! Wonderfully quiet atmosphere and we enjoyed watching the barges and other boats pass during the day. The lodge and the cabins are beautifully designed. The outdoor pool and hot tub are wonderful. Having a small kitchen with a hot plate was nice and we were able to make some meals, but it was a bit difficult. We didn't end up eating at the restaurant but it seemed like a nice atmosphere with a stunning view. We did enjoy our walk over to the nearby brewery. The trail passing by the front of the cabin is a wonderful walk as well. Everything inside the cabin was clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was spacious and clean. My only complaint: I usually love firm mattresses, but these were a bit too much even for me. There is not much nearby, but it is a nice quiet retreat and I would definitely stay again.

The outdoor area pool, hot tub and walk way were good. The facility is looks just like the pictures.
If you want a riverside view requst it, I was given a parking lot view room.
Unfortunately, the King room was not the 9.4 rating it was given.
I could hear every little sound.... the guy in the next room, shuffling around, coughing and gaging.
The bed was hard and lympy, I couldn't sleep and got up very stiff and sore the next day.
The refrigerator had a loud humming buzz that increased overnight. The Tv wouldnt select a channel, after resetting 4 times and 3 calls to the front desk still didn't work. I was told maintenance would fix it in the morning. I kept fiddling with it and it finally worked.
Overall, for the price I am totally disappointed.

Our room and bed was crawling in ants. We first saw them in the bathroom and killed as many as we could. In the night we woke up to lots of ants crawling in our bed and it was totally disgusting.

The room was quite large and the view of the river was beautiful. The hotel offered many little perks including outdoor fire pits and bicycles to borrow. The restaurant was decent but nothing special and was closed the morning we left. The restaurant was really the only disappointment in our stay. It was very quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we were hoping for.

The 2 bedroom cabin was a cute experience. I liked that you could heat each room separately. The mini-kitchen was decently stocked. (Missing dish soap and a sponge, but I never tried asking front desk -- I'm sure they would have helped out.) Beautiful view of the river -- the photos were not deceptive. Yes, the cabins are right next to each other but they are designed so that there is privacy with one main window only facing out to the river. Wifi was easy to connect, hot water in shower was great. Overall a nice getaway place to look at the river, but still have a hotel restaurant only yards away. Very nice free coffee station at the front desk for guests too.

Really a quiet place and cool staff. The restaurant has a couple Really great bar tenders /wait staff. The cabins are a must do if you're wanting Really quiet stay.
