Our experience was great. The room decor is dated but clean and functional. The pool is much larger than a standard hotel pool-15 yds I believe with two line lanes for laps. Both the pool towels and room towels were brand new. Good location for Saratoga Springs activities at a reasonable price.

Great location, super easy check in, plenty options walkable nice and quiet

The check in person was nice and respectful and the room was nice and comfortable and the pool and hot tub were very nice.

Check-in area musty and staff not welcoming. Rusted drains in shower and sink. No waste basket in room (except bathroom) and no trash receptacles outside unit. Advertised as having a pool which is why I chose this hotel. The pool is covered and unusable.

The service was excellent. The front desk people were very nice. But the room wasn’t very clean and there was not any soap to wash your hands. We got there late and we were on our way to a concert and got in late and when I went to take a Jacuzzi bath the water came out orange. So I tried to run it through and as I’m running it through, I noticed that my wedding rings instantly tarnished. I guess that’s caused by the mineral water. When I called the front desk and asked about it and asked if it was safe to drink the water, he said we could drink one cup and it was healthy for you but no more. So when I went to get water from the vending machine, the vending machine was broken and the icemaker was also broken. So I walked to the front desk and the guy at the desk gave me two free bottles of water. Which was nice but I think it should be listed that you can’t drink the water somewhere. There was no sign and if I hadn’t called him and I hadn’t ran the bathtub water, I would have drank a whole water bottle full of that water and have been sick. Also, the patio outside had two plastic chairs covered in bird poop and dirt, and was not comfortable at all. Ending on a positive note tho, the bed was clean and super comfortable, and the pillows were amazing! but the room was not worth $360 for one night

For the price, this place was great for the night. Very close to SPAC.

This property has sooo much potential….it needs an update big time. The small efficiency apartment I had smelled like Asian food. It has old school deep maroon carpeting circa 1980’s White House. It also needs a phone number that actually gets answered. I tried many times, all the numbers listed on my res. Never answered. But it served its purpose.

The outdoor pool wasn’t opened. We were bummed because it was a beautiful pool day!

I love the location near the track and the rate

The Roosevelt Inn is an amazing resort. FDR heritage with photos in the lobby, bring history to life, with an amazing environment. The Inn has both expanded rooms and suites all appointed with comfortable furnishings. Convenient to Rt 9 and 87, the Inn has a warmth and friendly atmosphere to share with guests. The spa, whirlpool and indoor pool are added benefits. Spa convenience is readily available. The Inn is located on a spacious lot with views of lush green fields. For added convenience, a Restaurant is located onsite. This Inn is an A+++ !

It is in need of serious renovations

This is an older property that used to be very nice. Unfortunately, I do not see any sign of the new ownership updating the property and our assigned room was not even cleaned upon entry. They assigned us a new room without an apology. New room had lots of dust. Bed was not comfortable. Continental breakfast was limited. We wanted to love it. Still an okay deal for a popular SPAC show, I guess.

Property was dated but clean and met the need. Much more reasonable rates that in Saratoga Springs. Staff accommodated a middle of the night check in.

We stayed there a number of years ago. Things have gone downhill. Everything felt dirty and old. Housekeeping was below par

We checked in and left quickly for an event we were scheduled for. Unfortunately we did not examine the bathroom. It had not been cleaned. Dirty sink, Dirty tub/shower and the only garbage can in the room was in the bathroom and that had not been emptied in quite a while because it was half full of garbage. We did not get back to the room until very late and that's when we realized it was dirty. I spoke to the manager in the morning who essentially blamed me for not calling him when we got in.

Made a reservation for my family and they were refused even though I made an under 21 reservation. Which was approved on Expedia BTW. Not nice

The gentleman at the front desk was decently helpful. Room and facilities were dirty, the water actually smells bad when it comes from the pipes. Everything is stained, most of the amenities listed are non existent. There is a very cold pool inside that was covered in a layer of dust, no outside pool, no tennis courts, and a sauna that has clearly not been on in years. The bed was comfortable and bedding was clean, towels were unexpectedly nice. It's a hotel with a ton of potential that is quickly falling into neglect and where cleaning staff need some training or clearer expectations. This hotel is asking for bad reviews because of the price point per night. Right now it's a 1 star motel

This place is simply OK. But it's super convenient when going to SPAC.
