People and food

Property is beautiful, however the carpets need a deep cleaning the hallway carpet is filthy and tattered see photos, The elevator carpet is black with grime. Stayed here many times in the past but some maintenance of the place needs attention, clearly visible debris and string and paint chips and wall paper separation are clear signs that management is not addressing the most basic tennant of a clean property For close to $200 a night the experience is more of a motel 6 at this point- a shame, hope they make corrections.

Staff was awesome. Bed was not that great. Woke up sore and stiff. Bathroom in the room was very nice. This is close to the airport. The carpet in the hallways going to the room needed a good cleaning. It worked for one overnight on our way to Niagara Falls.

Excellent place to go and spend a day or two the only thing was the Internet wasn’t working .

Lovely hotel… clean room and very convenient to stores and restaurants in the area… one update that would really make a difference is new carpeting throughout the hotel, elevator and rooms… current condition is dirty and smells.

The room was okay, but the plumbing was substandard. The toilet broke and there was no one to fix it until the following day. It was very inconvenient. To say the least.

Staff is awesome even though we came on Labor Day with minimal services available we enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed talking with Sony today.

Stayed in Harriet Suite.Room was very clean and comfortable. Wonderful bathroom with duel sinks, separate toilet area and walk in shower.

A real 4 star prospect The front desk agent Sunny in the evenings was excellent at providing service for us and all guests.All staff on the catering side was excellent as well.

Staff, room, was great. High quality and comfortable room. The hotel layout is quite strange but all in all a nice place to stay. One big negative was a wake up call that I never received after front desk assured there would be no problem.

Best Hotel and safe, clean.

The Delavan was amazing! We stayed in the Harriett Suite my wife and I agree its one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom was beautiful, deep tub, rainfall showerhead and his/hers vanity. The facilities were well kept gym included. I love that the gift shop is 24 hours and that Perla, Italian Prime, and the Chandelier Bar are all attached the food is delicious and the drinks are creative and stiff. Allison was very accommodating and polite i will definitely return when I go see my Buffalo Bills play as they are 15 minutes from highmark stadium and about 35 minutes from Niagara Falls, we loved it!!!

The restaurant and bar is amazing. Excellent bar tenders Hotel was a bit worn down, definitely bin abused Desperately Needs new carpets in hallways and rooms. Will definitely go to restaurant again as Salvatore’s is top notch.

Just a beautiful hotel with a lively bar. Some items are starting to show their age, though. Even though the property needs some freshening up, it is still such a nice hotel

The hotel floors need repairs some of the carpet was coming up.

The hotel appeared run down on the outside and inside. Carpets in hallways damaged. Promised coupons toward spa not provided as they said they don’t do that anymore. Pillows and bed uncomfortable. This is not 4 star material.
