The Ellie Beach Resort Myrtle Beach Tapestry by Hilton

Fantastic hotel with a well prepared and very professional staff..Everyone from the front desk, restaurant, onsite store, etc treated us with nothing but respect. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant...GREAT HOTEL!!...

I tried to enjoy my stay at the Ellie and maybe I just had bad luck with my particular room, but two issues affected the enjoyment of my stay and were things I wouldn't expect when paying $1,300 total for two nights at this hotel. When arriving and attempting to walk onto the balcony, the the door would not open because the entire door frame from top to bottom had come detached which blocked the door from opening because the deadbolt could not get past the detached frame. I took me about 5 minutes of fighting with it to figure out how to work around this issue to get the door open. It would be impossible for hotel staff or housekeeping to not notice this issue if the door was ever opened so it should have been promptly reported to maintenance and the room should not have been assigned to guests until it was fixed. Later that evening, when I showered, I discovered that it was literally impossible to shower without completely flooding the bathroom and living room if I hadn't quickly noticed the issue. The shower and shower curtain look fine at a glance but the issue is that there is a sizable gap below the curtain and as soon as the stream of water hits the curtain (which is lightweight), it pushes it out and allows the full water stream to run onto the bathroom floor. Within 20 seconds, I had significant water all over the bathroom floor. So I had to carefully shower with the hand wand to containt the water. Just unacceptable for the price of this hotel.

I like it. Swimming pool very clean, quiet and super relaxing!

The amount that we paid to stay was not worth it.. not only that ever since my daughter used that Lockwood shampoo her hair keeps shedding/falling out a lot!! Many different hidden fees that aren’t told to you up front. The dining lady for bkfast had attitude and it was just hard to even ask a question without extra from her.. sure the hotel is by the beach so location is a plus but even the pool states it would be open till 10 and before 9 hit someone was telling people to get out the pool and the sister hotel pool stayed open long he stated. Just many things went wrong and we weren’t even down there for vacation we were down here for my dads funeral and just wanted the kids to get some away time close to the beach just didn’t turn out as well as we would have liked it too

The finishing in the room looks newly renovated which is great! But the room feels sandy all the time and the room AC unit can be noisy at times. The new slides and the large pool were great for the kids! However, the pool is fenced up and there are only 2 gates open for entrance from the carpark or we have to enter front the lobby, so it is quite inconvenient. Similarly, though it is ocean front property, all gates from the pool to the beach are locked so it's quite troublesome to have to walk out through the carpark and make a big round to get to the beach when the beach is right there in front of the pool (it's quite silly...). The guest laundry room is located in Double Tree property on the other side of Ellie so it can take 5-10min to walk over or you have to drive over. Not very convenient when you have a large load of laundry. The staff at the reception wasn't very helpful, I had wanted to clarify on the deductions on my credit card but the staff just printed the receipt for me and told me she cannot help any further. Not the kind of service you expect from a 4 star Hilton property but oh wells. But overall it was still a pleasant stay.

Everything was good. The only thing I didn’t like was that they went back into my account putting a hold on more than what I owed them. Then when I spoke to the lady at the front desk she act as if she wanted to argue saying night shift went in and took more out but she didn’t try to fix the problem.

The Ellie Beach resort offers rooms with a balcony with views on the pool facing the opposite rooms, a room with partial ocean view, a room with full ocean view, & suites. We made sure to pick and pay extra for the Ocean view room, but once we got there, the lady at the reception first lied to us saying that all rooms had partial ocean views except suites, her tone was not welcoming and quite rude when we explained that’s not what we paid for. She didn’t look to accommodate us, and ruined a family trip, just because she was trying to move quick and place us somewhere. If that’s how they treat Platinum members, that’s a shame, because I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Very misleading and false advertisement. All other properties in the same street looked nice & cleaner.

Nice place , clean rooms , decent restaurants and in room menu. Pools close early. Good location. Overall would recommend and stay again

Hotel was very nice and new. Room was supposed to be an oceanfront but was only partial. Check in was quick and amazing. I LOVE THAT YOU CAN VISIT ALL 3 HOTELS AMENITIES WHILE THERE!! There is so much to do at this location. Will definitely recommend and be staying again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Ellie! Everything was super clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Noah at the front desk helped me a couple times and got all issues resolved within a few minutes. Ron ( I believe was his name) from maintenance, helped solve an issue with my lock, very friendly and quick. Larry and Noah on the pool bar were both very quick, polite and made some wonderful drinks! 100% will stay here again and would definitely recommend to family and friends! Also the food at Ocean Blue Restaurant was phenomenal. (Poke Bowl was insane)

Fantastic hotel. First family trip to Myrtle Beach and The Ellie was fantastic. Room was clean, pool and slides were perfect for the kids. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive. We’ll be back!

Our room and Sarah at Chech-In helping us to resolve a problem that Expedia had created. She needs a raise!

Had an amazing day. This will be our go to hotel when coming to North Myrtle Beach.

It was family friendly, the room was clean. Kids love the water slides. Located at the south end of Myrtle beach which is quieter, but driving distance to all the attractions. We enjoyed our stay.

The restaurant staff was inattentive. When the waitress finally showed up, i placed my drink order andvthenvshe disappeared. She brought back a watered down drink. Then she took a lot of time bringing our food to the table. She did not suggest appetizers, salads, or a meal. I ordered dessert to go and she heard me because she brought me a box AFTER she put my dessert in front if me. Other than that, everything else was nice. Check in and out was easy.
