Property and activities were very nice. Expedia had sent 2 emails saying I had $100 credit on hotel activities. However, the hotel said this was not the case. A little disappointed in this part.

The reviews had us concerned, but we really enjoyed our stay! Quiet, convenient, and relaxing. Beds were cozy and linens were plush. Layout was nice. Fire pit was nice and close by. Front desk ladies working on the morning we checked out were so kind! We will definitely be back.

The staff was exceptional. All, the servers, lifeguards, shuttle driver, front desk staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and were very friendly. Amenities were numerous, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor tennis and pickle ball, bowling alley, golf courses and more. Large, walkable, grounds. The property was a bit run down though and our room was very dark.

The service provided by the front desk staff was great. The resort itself in its entirety is beautiful and has everything you could want. I was put in the Executive Suite bungalows. They were conveniently located right next to main hotel, and were quiet and had plenty of parking right next to my room, but they were severely outdated. I saw housekeeping come through every day, but when the carpet, bathroom sink and tiles are stained from age, and the wallpaper is starting to peel, it just doesn’t feel clean, you know? The bed was very comfy, though! My overall rating is, meh.

This is an older property and could use some updates, but overall it was great. The property is huge and has a ton of amenities. I was incredibly surprised. We were just passing through West Virginia and stopped for the night, but I would definitely stay there again.

We love stopping at this dog friendly resort, but after 20 years we have been visiting it might be time for some new furniture and bathroom upgrades. The shower stream is so light I can’t even get the shampoo rinsed out.

This is an older property and could use some updates, but overall it was great. The property is huge and has a ton of amenities. I was incredibly surprised. We were just passing through West Virginia and stopped for the night, but I would definitely stay there again.

It’s got a great setting with beautiful golf courses.
The rooms need a complete overall and upgrade. Paint , woodwork, bathrooms, carpet and furnishings all need to go.

We love stopping at this dog friendly resort, but after 20 years we have been visiting it might be time for some new furniture and bathroom upgrades. The shower stream is so light I can’t even get the shampoo rinsed out.

We only stayed for 2 nights and did utilize any of the recreational facilities and only ate at The Bunkers by the golf course. But the list of amenities was impressive.

Absolutely, the perfect place to go and unplug from life and the world great hideaway yes it’s rustic, but has its charm and everyone there is extremely helpful and friendly would stay again absolutely!
