Overall the location was great. The rooms are relatively small, we stayed in a twin bed room and there was not much floor space to open our luggage

The lady on the front des was very friendly nice so sorry but a forget her name with a check in was very helpful with checking out , Was still there very nice I’m very happy, I’ll be back soon !

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Great location for downtown San Diego. The area is a quieter part of downtown. However, it is a quick walk to the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, and the waterfront.

Staff members were very friendly. The rooms leave something to be desired. The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets were a rough fabric. There wasn't a hand towel to dry hands, so we had to use the make up remove cloth. The volume on the television did not work. The parking lot is small. I have a disabled placard and the parking attendants were using the disabled spaces to park other guests. I wouldn't stay here again.

Valet parking is $50 per day and $40 self parking per day. Rooms are tiny. Bathrooms have a transparent glass door so be ready to give a show to whoever you travel with. Looks a bit dated on the lobby and hallways. I bet there’s much better options for the price.

Stayed here with my best friend last minute because it was a good deal checking in. They didn’t really know how to do anything. Everybody had to help get us checked in and then they let me proceed to walk around the lobby looking for the elevators instead of telling their guests where the elevators are room was very hot. They sent someone up to try to fix it. Still stayed hot. Blinds were covered in dirt and grunge would not stay there again unless it was free.

Upon checking at the hotel, we were not given a room on the dog friendly floor. We requested that both of our rooms be on the same floor after realizing that one room could not be on the dog friendly floor. Upon this request, we were given two rooms on the second floor. We entered our room and it was in complete disarray. The couch was turned up. The mattress was standing straight up at the ceiling. There was a water bubble on the wall the bedframe was torn apart, and it was completely unlivable. The mattress itself was water damaged and brown. When we brought it up to front desk, they seemed surprised and said they would send maintenance and housekeeping to come and solve the problem. When they arrived, they were completely shocked that they ever even given us this room. It was completely unsalvageable. It was only upon complaining numerous times that we were able to get our pet fee and our resort fee waived on this. Nobody was even there to help us move our luggage from one room to another. Mind you we had a dog, a three-year-old and two people. We had already driven six hours from Arizona what made this even worse was that I had called immediately after making the reservation to let them know that we were bringing a dog and they told us don’t worry about it arrive. Service was abysmal the hotel room, dirty parking terrible. There was also rotting food left over in the microwave and fridge in one of our rooms that caused a distinct odor to last.

When we first arrived, we were given a standard room with two full beds and it honestly felt small cramped and claustrophobic so we asked the hotel if we could upgrade to a larger room. They definitely accommodated us with a suite which had a king bed and a sofa bed. Much cozier for three adults and one teenager. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Hotel is conveniently located to cava chipotle Mendocino Farms in corner bakery. There is a county jail a block away from the parking lot otherwise it’s a decent day for one or two nights max.

Good location, nice hotel, staff nice. No bar was disappointing

I was very disappointed in my room. Not at all what was shown on the web page. The sink was right there when we opened the door, not in the bathroom, bathroom waa at the foot of the bed with a roll door to shut, air conditioning would not shut off, and when we retuened from dinnee there was.nowhere to park even though we had a pass for parking. Room small and cramped. We immediately checked out and did not stay the night. I'll never return to that hotel.

Hotel was nice & clean, and the staff was friendly & attentive. Parking behind the hotel was a little tight, hotel will provide valet if self parking is full. Easy walk to pier & restaurants! Would stay here again!
