It was reasonable priced luxury. Everything was perfect and we really liked the signature room. Staff was extremely nice too. Couple negative vibes comes from saunas. In the sauna has 50C... What kind of sauna is that? Supposed to be 80C at least. And sauna was located only in mens area. Women has only steamroom. Also missing some body wash both public area showers. And breakfast was quite poor. Very little anything, mostly steamed veggies and some curry. Who eats those as breakfast? Otherwise all good. And rooftop area was ok. Not stunning but ok.

Check-in is disorganized, but all of the staff are friendly and helpful. Every morning at breakfast, one employee was extra welcoming. Interacting with Thuy Giang in the dining room was a lovely way to start our days. It was nice to have two bathrooms. Also, the hotel treats you to a meal and daily happy hour drinks, which was an unexpected bonus. We also love the restaurant next door called Hong Phat.

We booked this hotel for our last 3 nights in Vietnam as it looked really good. We were disappointed with the room we had booked, but thanks to Matthew, he worked with us and found a room that met our expectation for the money we had paid. Quan was super friendly and greeted us every day. Great location and the breakfast was okay.

The hotel is 3 buildings in one. We were located in an area with no windows so it was dark and easier to sleep. Sun comes up early here in Vietnam. There was a bit of noise in the hallways during the day if you need a nap from repairs to cleaning staff. Rooms are great, excellent bathrooms. Pool sensational Girls enjoyed the spa treatments

The hotel is smack in the middle of district 1, meaning tou can walk to a great many attractions. The room was clean, quiet, with decent air-conditioning. The photos on the ad make the room and facilities somehwat more than reality. We didnt use the pool as it smelt lf chlorine, and the entire hotel has access to the jacuzzi. The rooftop areas were home to smokers, so not for us. Stafff were lovely but not problem solvers. Breakfast had plenty of choicebut if you're after taste, head for the street food

This is my third stay at this hotel - or rather hotel complex: there are three Alagon hotels joined together in this block near the Ben Thanh market. Actually I checked in at the wrong one the first time I came here. This time I had one night in a room with a window, but “no view”, meaning it only leads to a sort of backyardish air duct. The room is modern and clean, with reasonably placed mains outlets, and also reasonably quiet - but I booked myself into one of the more upmarket rooms with a (great) city view after one night. Had the first room been significantly cheaper, I would have considered staying there, but for some reason it isn’t - it’s slightly pricey like the rest - so there you go. The Alagon complex is very professionally run, with forthcoming, efficient and polite staff, plus a great location, and I keep coming back.

The best service I have ever received from all members of the hotel staff. Communication between each department excellent in meeting our varied needs including helping to book a specialised private tour. Always smiling and greeting you warmly, including the hardworking housekeeping staff. Clean, peaceful and beautiful surroundings and an excellent choice of mainly Vietnamese foods, but also some European foods and cereals, breads and teas and coffees. Really enjoyed using the rooftop swimming pool and sitting for a while in the rooftop bar drinking our free cocktails, one per person per night as part of a voucher reward scheme. A few teething problems at start of our stay, as we tried and succeeded in sorting out which entrance and which lift was the closest to access our room, a tad confusing as construction is going on outside parts of the large building and some renovations are already taking place inside leading to some confusion on our part.However, the many floor staff were alert and ready to show us the correct way, as well as transporting luggage from different areas when needed. Would happily stay here again for future visits to HCMC.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic—convenient and close to everything, making it a great choice for travelers looking to explore the area.
