Stayed in a Bungalow Villa. Although slightly dated , clean and with everything well thought out. Room was cleaned every day at no extra charge. Very good bar and restaurant with breakfast included. Good choice of food. Beach was stunning and so peaceful. Also hotel has a very good swimming pool which was again very clean and fresh pool towels provided daily. Staff were excellent- nothing too much trouble and very friendly. Only downside is that they didn’t understand much English but Google Translate took care of that. Special thanks to Jessie, Jon (the Assistant Manager) and Tam - excellent service Would definitely stay here again

Really nice resort with a good swimming beach and pool, great room overlooking the lagoon. Staff were lovely and helpful. My only issues were the super loud aircon and the toilets do not accommodate large male bowel movements; otherwise great!

Pretty remote in location, outdated and in need of a refurbishment. Staff were not friendly or helpful, the bath overflowed, the bed was uncomfortable and hard! Sheets were not changed. Structure of the bridge to the water bungalows was a bit dodgy and then the water bungalows themselves needed upgrades, stones falling off around the bathtub and the sliding doors were not secure with gaps in the frame… essentially inviting in all creepy crawlies (geckos) from outside. I will not be back and I urge you not to bother going.

The hotel is far away from the main tourist area, but there are also opportunities to shop and eat nearby. The complex is very quiet with a private beach area and a small pool with a beautiful view of the beach. The restaurant serves pizza, burgers, spaghetti and meat as well as local dishes with meat or fish, and a variety of drinks. The staff is very friendly. There are both good and bad things to say about the bungalows: The good thing is the size of the rooms, and there is free cappuccino, tea and water. The bad thing is that the facade and roof need to be renovated, so you might get uninvited guests. A little tip: rent a scooter and explore the island - it's really fun.

Hotellet i sig var trevligt och vår villa fantastisk med altan mot havet. Maten var bra men inte mer, men då är vi nog rätt kräsna efter ätit fantastisk mat dagarna innan i hoi an. Det finns tyvärr inga restauranger nära, vi gick till närliggande resort och åt med, men var heller ingen wow. Om man gillar slappa på samma ställe där det är lugnt och är ok att äta på hotelrestaurangen varje måltid är platsen perfekt. Frukosten var bra. Men vi som gillar att gå och äta på olika ställen passade detta inte alls tyvärr, även om boendet var mysigt. Vi bodde kvar 2 dagar av 5 och flyttade sen till longbeach istället. Personalen var trevlig. Personal som städar upp stränderna, vilket behövdes när det blåser in massor av plast. Fans sup och kanot att låna. Och en helt ok pool. Även volleybollnät.

It's position nestled in the corner of a soft sandy beach amid great stone walkways, lush gardens, orchids and numerous. Coconut trees along the shore. If you appreciate older gardens, love waking up with the sun rise and the high tide waves crashing on the stone jetty then you have nature at your doorstep..the property has had better days but the overall picture makes you wonder how much more beautiful the property was when built and created by its original owners..someone's dream is forever a part of chez Carole. I truly hope the present and future owners will see it's present beauty, restore it's beauty and understand how well it all fits with its surroundings..very special, great energy and a strong grounding feeling with nature.

This place is amazing!!! The service is incredible - right from the start smiles were on everybody's face and they never left for our entire stay. The pool and beach are superb... Chilling by the pool and watching the sunset while sipping on beers and cocktails is what dreams are made of. A quick walk down the road gets you to a minimart or a little longer stroll down the beach gets you into town to buy food and see the locals. The beach in front of the resort is perfectly clean and there is volleyball, kayaking and paddle boarding to be done. The rooms are beautifully spacious and clean, and even with a mozzie net - which is definitely needed. The best sleep I have had in ages... Due to the bed and the peacefulness of the place. The gardens are beautiful, with lots to look at and even a pool table hidden in another bar area. I would definitely stay here again - possibly bringing many more friends. Thankyou to all the staff who made us feel welcome!!! Oh and definitely go on the tour we were recommended that takes you to the south of the island where you go snorkeling and on the massive cable car - thanks for the recommendation!!!

Eine Woche vor Anreise wurde uns mitgeteilt das wegen Renovierung das Restaurant nicht geöffnet hat.Als wir Abends ankamen hörten und sahen wir nichts.Fer nächste morgen zeigte dann die wirkliche Situation. Laut und unerträglich überall Schmutz und das ganze Hotel renovierungsbedürftig.Wir haben sofort bei Hotel com reklamiert aber das wurde nicht umgesetzt.Schreckliche zwei Tage.In der Strandbar könnten wir frühstücken Abends hat das Personal Billard gespielt und war nicht an Gästen interessiert. Wir würden keine Nacht mehr dort verbringen und auch nicht mehr über Hotel com buchen. Man hat nur die Möglichkeit mit einem virtuellen Chat Partner zu schreiben. Leider kann ich hier keine Bilder hinzufügen ich werde die Bilder auf der Seite des Hotels bei Google hinzufügen

Eine vergleichsweise naturbelassenes Gelände in der weniger touristischen Ecke der Insel. Von hier kommt man gut überall hin sofern man sich auf die Verkehrsmittel Roller und Taxi einlässt. Sehr ruhiger Strand und nettes Personal, auf Anfrage wird einem alles gebucht und/oder Infos zu Aktivitäten und Co. gegeben. An sich ist die Unterkunft und die Ausstattung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dafür ist man auch Näher dran als in den großen Resorts die kaum was mit Vietnam zu tun haben.

Fina rum men missvisande att det är havsutsikt när det är utsikt över floden när vi dessutom betalde mer för det rummet än de med utsikt över floden. Ganska dålig service. Helt ok mat. Fin strand och fin pool, men strandbaren verkar vara nedlagd, skötseln av floden och vissa delar av området ganska dålig. Ligger fint på stranden men hotellt ligger långt från andra restauranger och shopping så man blir beroende av moped alternativt taxi.

L'hôtel est assez excentré l'utilisation de taxi ou de scooter et obligatoire si l'on veut bouger un peu. Le cadre est très agréable, le calme et la sérénité se font sentir dès notre arrivée. Seuls bémols, nous sommes obligés d'aller à la pêche aux informations, le personnel n'est pas des plus réactifs. Il n'y a egalement pas assez de transat pour tous les voyageurs. Concernant le restaurant, nous n'avons pas été très satisfait rapport qualité/prix. Si vous rechercher du farniente au bord de la mer, alors vous passerais un séjour agréable.

Omgivelserne var absolut ikke svarende til billederne. Billetterne giver et meget mere positivt og charmerende indtryk, hvilket viste sig ikke at være tilfældet i virkeligheden. Stedet er meget øde, med ingen mulighed for alternative spisesteder i gå afstand. Vi fik en ringe modtagelse. Blev ikke hentet i lufthavnen trods oplysninger om ankomst tid. Personalet I restauranten taler virkelig dårlig engelsk. Der er desværre heller ikke noget positivt at sige om maden; virkelig kedelig og smagsløs. Morgen buffeten var kedelig og trods adskillige personaler i restauranten var de fleste fade tomme. Værelserne var til gengæld rigtig fine; store og rene med rigtig fint badeværelset. Poolen fremstår pæn og ren. Stranden var fin, men vandet ikke klart, måske pga udmundingen fra vandløb. Der var en standbar, men den var lukket. Vi rejste 3 dage tidligere end booket. Receptionisten tilstede ved vores afrejse var venlig med godt engelsk.

This is a good beach getaway. A bit isolated but fine if you are looking to just relax on the beach or by the pool. There is nothing else nearby within walking distance so unless you take a taxi you're stuck on the property. The restaurant serves very good Vietnamese food and has an extensive western menu as well. The restaurant staff were friendly and accomodating, especially one waiter named Duc, his English is very good.

We ver much enjoyed our stay at ChezCarole. The beach, pool, food, rooms and staff were amazing. Arrangements were made for us to tour the island on one day at a reasonable cost. We also travelled into Duong Dong for the evening market. Wonderful evening. If you want a quiet relaxing space with all the goodness mentioned, the chez Carole is the place.

Really nice resort with a good swimming beach and pool, great room overlooking the lagoon. Staff were lovely and helpful. My only issues were the super loud aircon and the toilets do not accommodate large male bowel movements; otherwise great!

Pretty remote in location, outdated and in need of a refurbishment. Staff were not friendly or helpful, the bath overflowed, the bed was uncomfortable and hard! Sheets were not changed. Structure of the bridge to the water bungalows was a bit dodgy and then the water bungalows themselves needed upgrades, stones falling off around the bathtub and the sliding doors were not secure with gaps in the frame… essentially inviting in all creepy crawlies (geckos) from outside. I will not be back and I urge you not to bother going.

The hotel is far away from the main tourist area, but there are also opportunities to shop and eat nearby. The complex is very quiet with a private beach area and a small pool with a beautiful view of the beach. The restaurant serves pizza, burgers, spaghetti and meat as well as local dishes with meat or fish, and a variety of drinks. The staff is very friendly. There are both good and bad things to say about the bungalows: The good thing is the size of the rooms, and there is free cappuccino, tea and water. The bad thing is that the facade and roof need to be renovated, so you might get uninvited guests. A little tip: rent a scooter and explore the island - it's really fun.

Hotellet i sig var trevligt och vår villa fantastisk med altan mot havet. Maten var bra men inte mer, men då är vi nog rätt kräsna efter ätit fantastisk mat dagarna innan i hoi an. Det finns tyvärr inga restauranger nära, vi gick till närliggande resort och åt med, men var heller ingen wow. Om man gillar slappa på samma ställe där det är lugnt och är ok att äta på hotelrestaurangen varje måltid är platsen perfekt. Frukosten var bra. Men vi som gillar att gå och äta på olika ställen passade detta inte alls tyvärr, även om boendet var mysigt. Vi bodde kvar 2 dagar av 5 och flyttade sen till longbeach istället. Personalen var trevlig. Personal som städar upp stränderna, vilket behövdes när det blåser in massor av plast. Fans sup och kanot att låna. Och en helt ok pool. Även volleybollnät.

Stayed in a Bungalow Villa. Although slightly dated , clean and with everything well thought out. Room was cleaned every day at no extra charge. Very good bar and restaurant with breakfast included. Good choice of food. Beach was stunning and so peaceful. Also hotel has a very good swimming pool which was again very clean and fresh pool towels provided daily. Staff were excellent- nothing too much trouble and very friendly. Only downside is that they didn’t understand much English but Google Translate took care of that. Special thanks to Jessie, Jon (the Assistant Manager) and Tam - excellent service Would definitely stay here again

It's position nestled in the corner of a soft sandy beach amid great stone walkways, lush gardens, orchids and numerous. Coconut trees along the shore. If you appreciate older gardens, love waking up with the sun rise and the high tide waves crashing on the stone jetty then you have nature at your doorstep..the property has had better days but the overall picture makes you wonder how much more beautiful the property was when built and created by its original owners..someone's dream is forever a part of chez Carole. I truly hope the present and future owners will see it's present beauty, restore it's beauty and understand how well it all fits with its surroundings..very special, great energy and a strong grounding feeling with nature.

This place is amazing!!! The service is incredible - right from the start smiles were on everybody's face and they never left for our entire stay. The pool and beach are superb... Chilling by the pool and watching the sunset while sipping on beers and cocktails is what dreams are made of. A quick walk down the road gets you to a minimart or a little longer stroll down the beach gets you into town to buy food and see the locals. The beach in front of the resort is perfectly clean and there is volleyball, kayaking and paddle boarding to be done. The rooms are beautifully spacious and clean, and even with a mozzie net - which is definitely needed. The best sleep I have had in ages... Due to the bed and the peacefulness of the place. The gardens are beautiful, with lots to look at and even a pool table hidden in another bar area. I would definitely stay here again - possibly bringing many more friends. Thankyou to all the staff who made us feel welcome!!! Oh and definitely go on the tour we were recommended that takes you to the south of the island where you go snorkeling and on the massive cable car - thanks for the recommendation!!!

Eine Woche vor Anreise wurde uns mitgeteilt das wegen Renovierung das Restaurant nicht geöffnet hat.Als wir Abends ankamen hörten und sahen wir nichts.Fer nächste morgen zeigte dann die wirkliche Situation. Laut und unerträglich überall Schmutz und das ganze Hotel renovierungsbedürftig.Wir haben sofort bei Hotel com reklamiert aber das wurde nicht umgesetzt.Schreckliche zwei Tage.In der Strandbar könnten wir frühstücken Abends hat das Personal Billard gespielt und war nicht an Gästen interessiert. Wir würden keine Nacht mehr dort verbringen und auch nicht mehr über Hotel com buchen. Man hat nur die Möglichkeit mit einem virtuellen Chat Partner zu schreiben. Leider kann ich hier keine Bilder hinzufügen ich werde die Bilder auf der Seite des Hotels bei Google hinzufügen
