Self check in, worked well. Clean with plenty of space. Easy parking. Recommended cafe had great breakfast. Could have done with some washing up liquid in the kitchen.

No heating at all, freezing all the the time I was there.no bar or reception open building works on the go .

Our stay at The Marine Hotel was lovely. The room was lovey with a view of the castle and then of the ocean to our right. The room itself was clean. The bed was comfy and there was always great coffee available from Dee in the cafe downstairs. Will definitely be coming back for another adventure and would recommend.

Property had a great view of the sea and castle, staff were friendly if a little unprepared for our arrival, room was modern and clean, but the internet connection was unreliable, simple things were lacking like several sockets didn't work properly, not enough cups or tea/coffee sachets for a 5 person room, no tv reception, matress was poor, no mirror in bathroom etc. which was all a bit disappoitning given the price.

The room we stayed in was great my only suggestion would be to put some hooks on the inside of bathroom doors to hang clothes and towels and in shower cubicle to provide a soap basket

The staff were very helpful and considerate, the room was very good and the bed was comfortable. There was internet access but we didn't need it. The hotel was near the town centre so walking wasn't a problem.

The staff are friendly and welcoming with the beachfront on the doorstep. Issues were dealt with effectively making my stay here pleasant. Good job.

We were really excited to stay here as a treat for a trip to North Wales to celebrate my 40th but I have to say we were left really disappointed. I must say that the lady who was standing in and working on the bar and front desk was wonderful, she explained that she wasn’t usually working there, but she was brilliant. Criccieth is beautiful and we had a nice evening watching the dolphins from the beach which was amazing. The hotel itself has a nice guest house charm and its large and welcoming, however i booked the room especially for its ‘partial sea view’ and when we got into out room the blind was down to hide the fact that theres a film on the window so theres no view at all - looking from the outside there was a pallete on the roof - there seems to be a lot of work happening at the hotel at the moment. There was no way to open the window either so no view at all. We tried to watch TV but it had no signal and the hotel wifi didnt reach our room on the top floor, so no TV either, this made the room feel quite cooped-up. The doors dont have handles to close, and its a key lock so you need to wedge your hand under the door to slam it shut to make it lock - not ideal. We had 1/3 of a loo-roll left on the roll and no spare so the lady on reception kindly went to the local shop and bought us some. Additionally our bin in the room was still full of the previous guests rubbish. After having paid for our dog to stay this hotel cost alot for one night and didnt deliver quality.

The room was neat and clean, and met our needs as a family of four. However, the hotel itself felt unmanaged and soulless. Reception seemed to be constantly closed, with the request to call a mobile number if you needed service (including checking out) - so three stars only for the overall experience. We did not see many other guests, and the bar area was not open. Maybe it was just a blip and we arrived on a bad weekend. Location-wise, this was a good base from which to explore Snowdonia in the summer.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at the Marine Hotel with the family. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and just a short walk from the sea perfect for an evening stroll. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming. A great spot for a relaxing family getaway!

Such a beautiful room looking over criccieth castle, we couldn’t have asked for a better room! However there was no mirror in the room, making it slightly annoying having to all wait to use the small bathroom mirror, also as it was really warm this weekend and we were on the top floor. Our room was really hot! A fan in the room would have been a great addition, other that those 2 minor things, ZERO complaints! 😀
