Really busy time of year for the staff... CJ was fabulous and helpful... Second time at hotel and still cozy and very warm... Had to wait a while for dinner...but it didnt matter, staff were apologetic and made amends.. its a nice place to stay

Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected.

Great location and access to public transport, large rooms with great bathrooms

Lovely hotel for a 1 night stopover. Parking was a little dicey but otherwise we had a great stay.

Very nice and quiet for a space over a pub. Updated and tasteful rooms. In the center of the town. Host is very competent.

Nice hotel, and the most popular venue in Dolgellau. Ensure you arrange your evening meal before 8pm, as everything stops serving early (out of season), including the hotel. Was extremely disappointing to be left with just a kebab shop at 8:20pm, with absolutely no alternatives. Town has some nice eateries, but everything shuts early and it feels like a ghost town by 9pm.

A perfect location

Beautiful little hotel in the middle of town. Easy walking to local shops. Rustic, but in a great way. Feels like what a family owned hotel should feel like, and super easy check In/Out.

Stayed for a long weekend with my little daughter as a treat and will definitely be back! Staff were ever so helpful andwent out of their way. The room and food were lovely. Parking in the central car park is just down the road, very convenient.

Great room and lovely staff. We managed to get a space in the carpark so the car was safe. We ate in the pub and the food was good, easy food. If you are a light sleeper, maybe ask for a room away from the church as the bells ring every 15 minutes. Although I am told sometimes they stop at 11pm, but you can’t guarantee.

No slippers in toilet, early check out and late breakfast serving, dinner price too high against ambience, no parking despite on web, no garden view while on web it has.

A lovely old feeling hotel, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Lovely staff. Great tea/coffee tray and water /biscuits every day. Fresh milk in flask a great touch. Food was average for pub grub . Room was tired, needed a paint. Dusty wardrobe. Mattress needed replacing -could feel the springs. No pillow protectors. Shower cubicle was full of mildew , trap was dirty inside. They did put 2 pillow cases on and clean trap when I asked. Very small bathroom, a large person would struggle!
