Perfect stay at a lodge with super friendly staff and owner, great breakfast every day and nice, quiet location

As a solo traveller and doesn't really eat much, the basic breakfast is quite enough. The couple who are in charge of the lodge are very accommodating, kind, friendly and easy to talk to. The lodge is very close to the park . I hired the man in charge of the lodge for my transportation from and back to the airport and to the restaurants

The room was clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were nice, respectful, and friendly. The staff was so kind and provided additional services to give us a ride to the Falls and other attractions in the town.

The rooms were modern (the lodge opened in the last few years) and clean. Sheets and towels were clean and free of bedbugs. A large premium soap bar was provided as well, but no shampoo. Internet was super fast (181 mbps) with a router like device in the bedroom. Breakfast was good with eggs, cereal, bread, beans, sausage, tea, and more. Mr. Jiyane was a pleasure to be around and was a very helpful and friendly person. He waa very responsive and proactively reached out before arrival to coordinate check in time and rides if needed. The place is a bit farther away from restuaurants and groceries so you either have to walk far or drive. The complex was secure in a gated complex.

Kafusi is actually a guest lodge, ie. small rooms in a house close to a house. Although the owners are absolutely wonderful and the lodge is impeccably clean, there is no ambience whatsoever. There is no sitting area outside, so there is no feel of Africa whatsoever. It is a newer lodge and a work in progress, so by the time you get there, they may have added some features. For the price, it is outstanding. They can also book you tours which end up much cheaper than booking in Victoria Falls. Their taxi service is also cheaper than most and excellent. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Wonderful visit. Paid shuttle from airport was easy with driver waiting for us. Owner and his family are incredibly nice. Mr Jiyane’s communication is fantastic: clear, helpful and very responsive. Wonderful breakfasts made by his wife. Pretty close to town/falls!b large clean rooms. Highly recommend- thanks for a wonderful stay!

It's a good place 👌👌

The property was great, and the rooms were very clean and quiet. The only recommendation I would have is to have a clearly visible reception desk for guests checking in and out. Once I arrived I was confused by where to go to check in as there was no reception desk or anyone there to direct me. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay! I would gladly stay there again.

We had a peaceful stay at Kafusi

Awesome stay in Kafusi. Breakfast kept me full. Spacious private area. Also space in communal areas. Host even built me my own mini gym. Very flexible with checkout. I’ll have to return again!!!

Nice and well maintained

It is hidden Gem and best value in Victoria Falls because it is in good location with very clean and provide home like environment and owner couple provide personal care from breakfast to tour guide and even shopping.

The hosts were amazing. They provided a real personal touch. Great breakfast. Nice and quiet. Good value for the money.

I had a fantastic three day stay at Kafusi Lodge. I was travelling alone and had nothing planned before my visit to Victoria Falls, so I was looking for a place where I could get recommendations on what to do, where to go etc. I found the perfect lodge for that! My hosts were so sweet, friendly, welcoming and helpful. They picked me up from the airport and organised a sunset game drive for me, all at very reasonable prices. They also drove me to restaurants in town in the evenings and picked me up afterwards (also for a reasonable price). I felt very comfortable with my hosts (I was the only guest at the lodge during my stay). They made me feel at home away from home. ☺️ Also, the brand new lodge (from 2024) was very modern and clean. It was simple but equipped with everything you need. Both my room and bathroom were spacious and spotless. I was served a delicious English breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend staying at Kafusi Lodge. I would love to stay there again when I return to Victoria Falls!

Elegant and freshly constructed strutures with perfect finishing. Very clean rooms and linen. Rooms are so spacious. The environment is very quite. The hosts Mr & Mrs Jiyane are extremely hospitable people, very humble, generous, and kind. Their shuttle was in time to pick and drop me at the airport. At an extra reasonable fee they drove me to my local destinations including to the Victoria Falls. I strongly recommend.

Great option - good value for money - clean and spacious. Staff very friendly. Safe.
