We had an amazing stay at Shongwe! Everyone was so helpful and friendly! We enjoyed our room, the food was great, and the spa services were top-notch! We enjoyed the Sunrise Bomba tour and bike ride. Would stay again!

Exceptional! This hotel deserves all the top awards! The staff was very welcoming and friendly our entire stay. We loved the beautiful and peaceful property. It was so clean and well maintained. The pool was wonderful with breathtaking landscaping. The food was delicious. The staff helped with activities and went above and beyond making us feel special. We really enjoyed the honeymoon suite with the unique outdoor shower. We loved EVERYTHING about our stay! Well done Shongwe Oasis!

Gorgeous property - quiet, convenient, just what you want in a high-touch boutique hotel. The staff is exceptional - they go way out to ensure not only needs are met, but wishes, ‘additionals’ and favors are attended, as well.

Staff was great…property just fine, beds comfortable but no TV

We had a wonderful time staying at Shongwe Oasis. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and made sure all of our needs were attended to. Our room (honeymoon suite) had a comfortable king size bed with mosquito curtains around it, large bathtub and both indoor and outdoor showers. The pool is a great place to get some sun, although I would recommend using it in the morning or lunch time as it does get leaves and seeds falling in it throughout the day (cleaned in the mornings). There’s also a jacuzzi with powerful jets. Everything that we ordered from the included breakfast was delicious and we never had to wait long for food. Free coffee all day is a bonus too! Another convenient thing is that the hotel booked excursions and even meals at restaurants, with the bill added onto our room tab so we just paid everything when we left. Overall I thoroughly recommend!

Went on vacation to Victoria Falls with my partner and my parents. We booked a honeymoon suite and a king room, both were beautiful and had high end finishes. Loved the soaking tub and outdoor shower amenities. It was over 100 degrees when we got there and was so relieved that the hotel staff greeted us instantly with ice cold, sparkling cucumber water, took our bags and directed us to our air conditioned rooms. The pool was so refreshing since we went during the hottest month and definitely feels like an oasis with all of the tropical plants surrounding the pool and the rooms. The best part of the stay was undoubtedly the service. Johannes at the front desk had kindly arranged everything for our trip, from our transfers to and from the airport to all of our excursions (we did a Zambezi sunset cruise and a helicopter tour and both were wonderful!). Johannes checked in with us before and after our transfers and offered to make us any additional arrangements or reservations and had great suggestions for maximizing our time in Vic Falls. We ate the restaurant twice for dinner and had our daily included breakfast at the restaurant as well. They had a table waiting for us each night we had dinner and had new specials each night, the service and wine paring from Shalom was wonderful and the chef knocked it out of the park at every meal. Overall, the boutique hotel felt extremely safe, clean and welcoming we couldn’t have asked for better service and hospitality. Will stay again!
