Hotel is clean and the staffs are friendly. Parking is free and spacious not the usual tight parking spaces. Breakfast is good but gets boring. They are offering the same everyday. But all in all it's a good stay and will prefer the same hotel when needed a place to stay in the area.

We had one night with two 8 year old girls. We ate at the hotel, and used the pool the next morning. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly and we would stay here again

A nice hotel, clean and comfortable.

Hotel was good quality. Very clean rooms, everything we needed and very comfortable. Bar area very modern, relaxed and enjoyable. Enjoyed the pool. Breakfast buffet very plentiful, tasty and hot. All the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Only niggle was the price of meals in the restaurant. The food was nice enough but the menu options were basic and we felt overpriced for what you got.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay. Quiet area but short drive to lots of lovely places. Breakfast had a good choice. Like a lot of buffets the food could have been hotter. We managed to use the pool and hot tub on 2 occasions, you just have to keep checking for a quiet time. The pool area around the hot tub has some signs of slight mould. Jack who served in the bar and restaurant was lovely, he really couldn’t do enough for you and was constantly checking with guests if they needed anything. Malcom less so when asked if there were any chef specials available instead of apologising for something advertised not being available, I was told they were far too busy to be bothering with Chef specials.Bed comfortable, room a nice size with a good shower room. Busy hotel and would stay again if we were in the area.

Ideal night away. Conveniently located for visit to Miller & Carter. Great pool and spa facilities, good bar and seating area. Excellent buffet breakfast and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

A very pleasant stay will definitely be coming back to this hotel again. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Plenty for breakfast & room was great.

The room was very quiet in relation to road noise - couldn’t hear any. However, as is common with most chain hotels, you could hear other guests’ comings and goings. The bed was super comfortable. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Though a word of caution regarding the shower over the bath. It is a big climb into the shower/bath and whilst there are “stability” handles in the shower, this may not be suitable for people who may be unsteady on their feet. Overall, comfortable and good value for money.

Hetel itself was everything you would ecpect from a Holiday Inn, negatives food in Restaurant was poor, soggy pizza, and pool area requires some repairs but overall a comfortable stay

Tv in room screen was broken, two pillowcases stained with blood or wine and less than half a roll of toilet paper in bathroom.

Located in nice surroundings, good leisure facilities. Modern and comfortable reception, dining and bar area.

Ace stay. Enjoyed the gym and pool. We stayed here when visiting Newcastle. You will need a car as the public tram and bus service are not close.
