What a nightmare! This place looked ok from the pictures but as soon as we pulled up we had a bad feeling. We checked in with no issue but as soon as we got to our rooms the problems began. Even though we reserved non-smoking rooms, both rooms reeked of old stale smoke. We tried to see if it would dissipate and opened the doors for about ten minutes. I tried to sit down on the bed but it was about 3 1/2 feet off the floor. I literally had to climb up to get on it. Then I went into the bathroom and the smell was unbearable. We decided to leave. We went back to the office and voiced our concerns to the young lady at reception and told her we were just going to leave and to cancel our reservation. She immediately started arguing with us (she had a very strong Indian accent when speaking English) saying she had to talk to her manager and she got her on the phone. Then she started speaking in a foreign language to the manager right in front of us. She claimed that she couldn’t authorize a refund, even though they didn’t have what we reserved, and we would have to come back in the morning to speak to the manager. Then she offered to give us a different room. At that point we were just done and had no faith that a new room would be any different. We called Hotels.com to help us and they said they would call the property but got to answer. We finally called our bank and put a freeze on our card and open a dispute. This was all on the 1st night of our two week road trip vacation. ☹️

I had several roaches in my room

I liked the front desk the place was nice. Get some new remotes for the TVs you’re losing business. Because of this. Also don’t like feeling radiation through the walls. fBI has been notified.

The remote for the TV does not work. So no TV. I could turn it on and off to the discovery channel. The URC or universal remote control is so old I couldn’t find a picture or instructions on the internet. New ones are needed.

Roaches, bed bugs, the microwave was full of bugs… oh and they change the pricing too so you pay another 15% because of “fees” but never disclose that to you, still waiting for a refund since i didn’t even stay for more then a hour

We thought it was ok until we seen mold in ceiling,went to sleep woke up to roach in bed& turned on light in bathroom & roaches was everywhere crawling all over fridge & idk if it was roaches or bed bug skeletons in the beds

The lady was not friendly had a whole attitude… They had roaches

I did not actually stay there because there were roaches in the room. The lady at the front desk during check in said people come there to do drugs. You get what you pay for I guess. They refused to refund.

Front desk person wasn’t friendly and the room was supposed to be non smoking but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The duvet didn’t have a cover and didn’t smell fresh. It was obviously an older property that had a decent renovation but the cleanliness could be better.

The man checking me in was rude. Had to check in by a night window outside. Not the best area. There were some "women of the night" in the hotel and surrounding area. Stains on sheets. Overall not impressed.

Upon checking in, the room next to mine had a very loud, irate woman shouting. I went back down to the desk and asked if I could move rooms. No issues at all, she gave me a new room & even called the guest to ask them to quiet down! Bed was very comfy. My only complaint was the old AC couldn't keep up quite as well as I'd hoped, but for the price, it was well worth the stay!

COCKROCHES!! Killed at least 10 in our room on a 2 night stay. Room appeared clean and updated but they have an infestation problem and the bugs are not afraid to come right out in front of you in the room. Easy fix if they would spray after every guest, set up traps, and make weekly guests leave their room to spray. Cheap owners. Florida inspector was there one moring checking their breakfast area. Unfortunately they only inspect empty rooms during day. She said to make a complaint. I've stayed in several hotels traveling throughout Florida and this is not normal. Nice tile and lobby but food cockroaches not palmetto bugs.

My room was infested with roaches. They were not able to move me to another room since they said they were fully booked that night. The only solution given to me was to wait until morning to change rooms. Also, upon closer inspection of the room I also noticed there was a dead roach on the seat in the room. This was a horrible experience and I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless you want to sleep with roaches surround you. I only got about half of my money back, which they should have refunded me the full amount. I had to rebook at another hotel that same night as I was not going to be able to go to sleep knowing I was surrounded by roaches. I have pictures of the roaches but not the bedding which had holes in it. Once I saw that, I should've known the type of hotel this was. There is no option to upload pictures with this review, if I find it I'll upload them.

Poor facility, room never cleaned or towels replaced, left three wake-up calls, calls never came. They tried to pass off a smoking room as non-smoking.

It was a nice place for the price. I definitely will be back again.

Even with a very late check in the staff was helpful and friendly and quick. Room was clean and pillow topper on the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of clean towels in the bathroom.
