We have stayed at Rubens at the Palace on numerous occasions, all the staff are friendly.

The staff were fantastic - they made us feel so welcome and as it was my husband’s birthday weekend all of the staff no matter where we went wished him a happy birthday! The location was great and we walked everywhere - no need to get the tube. We will definitely be back next time we’re in London

Excellent stay, real luxury! The pillows and bed was that comfy I nearly stayed an extra night! Great location and the staff couldn't do enough! Black margarita was 👌

The staff were by and large amazing, only snag I had was on my first morning wake up call their was no coffee, and on my second morning asked for a morning call and coffee and got neither. The English grill was very good especially the duck ragu.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff was amazing and the house keeping was impeccable.

Pretty average all round Rooms and decor dated. Lights were not on separate circuits so had to get out of bed to turn them off. TV in room old and with no casting facilities. Hallways dark and dated. Food expensive and average. Added a £15 service charge on for housekeeping. Stayed fot 1 night - wont be back. The hotel specifications state that gueata can use a nearby gym - when i got there i was told it was £35 for a day pass which is the cost of a monthly membership to a lot of gym's! Service perfectly fine but doesnt make up for dated facilities.

I was very kindly given an unexpected upgrade and the room was perfect. The staff could not have been more attentive and helpful.

Absolutely fantastic would definitely book again

We stayed one night with dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately there was a long waiting time for our breakfast ( approx 50 mins) Staff apologised about wait time which was fine but when breakfast finally arrived, it was cold which makes me wonder if food was actually ready but just wasnt brought out. We couldn't wait for food to be re cooked as had a train to catch . The serving staff were very attentive but coldness of food spoilt our dining. Doorman Pascal went above and beyond by directing us to our waiting transport some distance from the hotel, excellent customer service.
